If the test was specifically looking for alcohol then you failed it. You should have declined the test and came back to work the next day and it would have been good. Alcohol only stays in your system for a few hours depending on how much you consume and your body weight % if it was only one or 2 beers you would have been ok even 6 hours later...its not like most companies would fire you on the spot if you don't want to take the test they cant prove anything but by accepting and taking it and failing you kinda screwed yourself.
