  • Boyfriend and girlfriend want video to go viral. He talks her into shooting at him while he blocks the bullet with a book. I thought the gun would be a .22 or something, but it's a .50 Desert Eagle.

  • Man, that sucks. Even the guy's family are saying it was an accident and that she shouldn't go to jail.
  • My neighbor craped in a sack and threw it in my lawn.

Calif. Teen Allegedly Live-Streams Crash That Killed Her Little Sister

"Sanchez appears to speak calmly at first and then grows increasingly emotional. "Hey, everybody, if I go to f---- jail for life, you already know why," she says. Aiming the camera at her sister's motionless and bloody body, Sanchez says, "My sister is f---- dying. Look, I f---- love my sister to death. I don't give a f--. Man, we about to die. This is the last thing I wanted to happen to us, but it just did." "I don't f---- care though," Sanchez continues. "I'm a hold it down. I love you, rest in peace, sweetie."
  • Jesus. People need to stop fucking around. Shooting someone for youtube views... filming yourself drunk and rapping while driving your car... Come the fuck on, people.

Sometimes, I'm terrified for my kids because dumb shits like this exist.

  • "Time Traveling" Drunk Arrested by cops in Wyoming Says He Traveled Back in Time to warn Civilization about Aliens

    http://www.newsweek.com/wyoming-man-time-travel-aliens-public-intoxication-678627

"Cops said Johnson had bloodshot eyes, slurred speach and a blood-alcohol reading that exceeded legal limits -- but the alleged time-traveler had a perfectly logical explanation: the only way the aliens could send him back in time was to fill his body with alcohol and making him stand on a giant pad."

    He was arrested nonetheless.

Old post I know (This was about a teen jumping into allagator pit or something), but that's almost never the case.  People do something like that, they put the animal's life at risk (Like jumping in with animals at the zoo), plus the lives of anyone who tries to rescue them. So it's almost never as simple as people think.

Excellent point, and very true indeed.

Seriously, have they never heard of a "bathroom"??

Foul-Mouthed State Prosecutor Berates, Threatens Uber Driver

"Oh, my God, you're an idiot. You are a legitimate retard," a woman, identified as Warner by The Dallas Morning News, can be heard saying on an audio recording Platt posted to Facebook. "I want to go home so badly but you're so stupid. I want the cops to come so that they can fuck you up, that's what I want."

You would think if your job involved serving the community in any capacity, you would be nice to those that make up the community. Ah, but logic, tis elusive to most two-legged beasts...

    yup

I heard the recording on the radio this morning.  The Uber driver kept calm and started recording the woman which probably saved his ass since she later made a lot of false claims.  According to the report I heard, she has been fired from her job.  It's nice to hear when people actually get what's coming to them.

Have you ever been in an airplane bathroom?   Unless they're each only 100 lbs soaking wet, no way any fellatio is happening in there.

    Indeed! very good point.

    http://nypost.com/2017/11/13/who-are-they-going-to-believe-prosecutor-threatens-uber-driver-with-kidnap-claim/

An Uber driver in Texas claims a Dallas prosecutor threatened to accuse him of kidnapping her during a drunken rant, telling him: “Who are they going to believe? I’m a district attorney.”

She's a district attorney making shit up. She not only deserved to be fired, she deserves to go to jail for intimidation and threatening, and you have to wonder about all the convictions she's had in the past. How much stuff did she make up then?!

    yup

Okay, I do have to call out the double standard here. First, she is a good looking 29 year old. I'm pretty sure he didn't invite her over for a cup of tea and to discuss the weather. Secondly, notice that his age is not listed, while hers is. I'm willing to bet his far older. So, can't say I really feel bad for him.

Wait, so if he were younger you'd feel bad for him? I don't understand the correlation between their age difference and whether or not you feel bad for him. They're both grown adults and know what they're doing.

  • yup https://finance.yahoo.com/news/21-old-canadian-woman-found-184200509.html "Once they identified the victim as Gargol, the police sifted through her social-media accounts and came across a photo of Gargol and Antoine posted to Facebook six hours before Gargol's body was found. In the photo, Antoine was wearing what appeared to be the same black belt that was found at the crime scene." Have to "love" idiot criminals! So let's see, she strangles her "best friend", lies to police, tries to cover her track by posting on Facebook "Where are you? Haven't heard from you. Hope you made it home safe." Yup, this woman is a piece of nasty shite all right! And, for all that, she gets 8 years in jail... you know, I just don't personally see such a sentence as justice served...

A School District Has Dropped Mockingbird and Huckleberry Finn From Reading Lists Over Racial Slurs

"Our kids don't need to read the 'N' word in school," Stephan Witherspoon, president of the Duluth chapter, told the Star Tribune. "They deal with that every day out in the community and in their life. Racism still exists in a very big way."

So, anybody else see a problem with Stephan Witherspoon's "message", or is it just me??? :/

As an educator, this is infuriating! They are literally white-washing over an actual issue. How on earth is it better to ignore it? That’s like saying it doesn’t exist! Also, both books explicitly show black people in positive ways, and they demonstrate the highs and lows of humanity through real, difficult life lessons. Ah! This is maddening!

I am guessing that "Black Like Me" wouldn't cut the mustard either - regardless of what a seminal work it was.

I am also gonna go out on a limb and say that the twit likely has never read either of the books - or if he did he didn't understand the underlying message(s) in either of them.

And if a parent thinks that these are inappropriate for their child there are likely several other books to choose from  the list.   I do have a problem when someone wants to decide what is inappropriate for everyone else's children.   Supreme arrogance IMHO.
