Anyone know another way for me to contact Commander Santa?

I've been desperately trying to reach him for the past week or so; he hasn't come online here since November 27.

I'm from a website called the Lost Media Wiki and we found a long-lost cartoon he had been searching for for decades. Would love to be able to get in touch with him before Christmas

Thanks to anybody who can help

Yes, this.   As far as I know, he still works at Otto's store.

I fired that guy like 15 years ago for talking back to me.  He's probably wandering the streets all sad and lonely like while a tiny little fiddle plays depressing music around him.

Otto (Limbofunk) and I are business partners.

    Otto is also a weirdo.

    On another note...

I'd like everyone to know the INCREDIBLE effort dycaite (and his team at Lost Media wiki) have put in over the last 5 years.

Way back in 2012, I was a member of the Bungie.net forums.

LATE one night I decided to make a post asking if anyone else remembered a certain video from the old Nickelodeon show "Pinwheel."

I had stayed home from school one day and was sick on the couch when the creepiest thing I ever saw came on TV.

It was a short cartoon that gave me a serious case of the heebie-geebies.

After posting my story, it exploded.

The story spread across multiple websites like fire.

After about a week of searching by MANY people (this included contacting Viacom, a college in Canada and various reps at Nickelodeon) the internet deemed me a troll and a liar.

    "This story is made up."

    "Santa is a troll."

    "We've all been lied to."

I spent hours and hours every night for months trying to find this one short I couldn't remember the name to.

The name I gave it was "Clockman" because of the image I remembered of the man creepily coming out of a clock.

Fast forward 13 years later and dycaite and his crew of media detectives have finally located The Clockman.

Later today I plan on returning back to the b.net forums with proof of Clockman's exisitence thanks to dycaite.

    I cannot thank him enough.

Not only did he track down Clockman, but he was able to locate me too hiding out here on Nintendoage.

I'd HIGHLY suggest anyone looking for a lost media bounty hunter to speak with dycaite.

If they can find Clockman, they can find anything.

Here's the video (that was previously thought to be destroyed) that dycaite and his crew were able to pull from the media grave for anyone who is interested.

Thanks again 1 million times dycaite.

    You are amazing.

  • I'm so thrilled that we were able to find it   Merry Christmas!
  • This is amazing and made my day. Love this community!
  • Well, this is one of the best things I've seen on NA in quite some time, and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
  • It's a goddamn Christmas miracle.
  • You know, watching this, I *vaguely* remember having seen that same cartoon! Where my parents didn't have cable, I'd have to catch Pinwheel at friends' houses, and only when they left it on in the background of whatever we were doing in a lot of cases. I'd have never remembered this if I hadn't seen it. Thanks Commander Santa!
  • That video is bizzare AF
  • Holy shit, talk about a MAJOR blast from the past, I've got the damn theme song to "Pinwheel" stuck in my head now... Man me and my nieces when we where very young used to watch that show for hours I can barely remember any of it now but kept our asses entertained.

Hell that was when Nickelodeon was only on air like maybe 10hrs then it would change to Arts and Entertainment what we now know as A&E and had dull ass shit on it (from a kids view) a very long stones throw away from what we have now. Fuck imma getting old.
  • That's one creepy video, I'm surprised those kid's piercing eyes aren't what you remembered.

Also, I REALLY want to see the "I told you so" thread that comes out of this on that other site
  • Weird to see a cartoon from Czech Republic being broadcasted in the US.

From my point of view, coming from a Czech family and having watched similar cartoons all the time as a kid, it's not creepy/weird at all, but I can see why Western audiences who are used to a different style of cartoon might find it creepy. Gotta love those old, rather artistic yet low-budget cartoons from a small country behind the Iron Curtain.

Even though I would have seen it in another context, it still gave me a blast from the past watching such old cartoons on Czech TV with my grandma before going to bed
  • The English dub has been found!
