Cleaning an NES

Hey,

How would you guys recommend cleaning the exterior of an NES system... I had an original NES and was cleaning it with rubbing alcohol (91%) and while cleaning... It ended up whiping the damn red NES lettering off of the front of it. I never imagined that would happen....

Also do you guys think that 91% rubbing alcohol is OK to clean game connectors with?

    Yup. Nintendo reccomends it themselves, although be sure to mix in a teaspoon of water.

    Just dont wipe the Nintendo lettering.

    I clean my nes in a dish washer, plastic only ofcourse.... Very nice results!
