Sony PSP Question

There is something funky going on with the screen of a PSP 2001 i have. It works fine, but the screen looks wild.  It doesn't appear to have a screen protector on it. If it does, it is incredibly difficult to remove.  Any ideas on what it is?

    Lower left corner is making me think it has a screen protector on it. Do you have a cable to plug it into a TV to test it that way?

    It looks like one of those thin glass screen protectors.

    It's bound to have a screen protector as it looks like something has seeped in between the layers. If not then that screen is about to go soon as it looks like its gotten moisture inside somehow.

    any idea on how to remove a screen protector? If there is one it is seriously stuck. I think I have a tv connector so I can try that to see what Happens

    hooked it up to the tv and the picture was fine.

    Yep, The lower left-hand corner looks like damage from someone trying to remove a glass screen protector.



    If the obvious techniques don't work for removing a screen protector, I would remove the faceplate and soak it in hot tap water (make sure youre only soaking straight plastic) or you can get drastic with a hot air gun/hair dryer with a plastic spudger.
