DVR-ing sports is the First step in the bandwagoners handbook.
Step two is going to a regional rivals home game because you got free luxury box tickets.
Step three is cheering on another team when yours is elimanated from the playoffs.
edit: people ruining it does suck though.
I agree on 2 and 3. But DVR is the only way I get to watch football games. My weekends are busy and it's difficult to carve out a full 3-3 1/2 hours for a game on Sunday. Skipping commercials and fast forwarding through timeouts is totally awesome. It's also great for when a team ices the kicker, cause you're at 2 1/2 minutes after the playclock runs down, first timeout, then another timeout. I actually wish there would be a rule made against it. It totally sucks to watch in real time. And it doesn't work anyway.
Well, the Eagles are set to play the Falcons on Saturday and I'm going to miss the game
I'm in a wedding that day, so at the most, I'll be sneaking peeks at the score from time to time.
Such a violation right there. Having a wedding during pro sports playoffs especially football is a no. Participants and guests will want to be somewhere else.
Most people are grown up enough to prioritize major moments in their life over a bunch of millionaires throwing a ball around.
Yeah and its not your moment. Its some other persons moment that could have been planned almost any other day. Id prefer not risking having people not want to be there. People really get married in January?
weddings blow. Id much rather watch my favorite millionaire throw a ball around
Go tell a woman to watch her favorte reality competition show. Then tell her sorry, you cant watch the finale. I bet she would love it
Your favorite millionaire doesn't have the opportunity to throw the ball around in January though.
Your favorite millionaire wont eat a steak. What a pansy. Oh yeah and he cheats
Weak comeback , im aware. But the dude fucks supermodels, and has won multiple titles. Theres only so much
He eats avacado ice cream, sells pajamas, won’t eat tomatoes, and tables with a snake-oil con-man. He’s though to defend lol
My game picks. Pitt, NE, ATL, Min. Shocker I know.
Last week was weird. I got 3/4 picks correct but the games played out differently than I thought. Interesting week of football.
Did anyone catch the national championship game last night? Crazy right? Kindof a mirror image of the super bowl. I always viewed Alabama as the Patriots of college football and Georgia blew a decent size lead.

Yes. My thoughts exactly on how they blew the lead like the Falcons.
I said it earlier, I'll say it again...Pats win the Super Bowl...You heard it hear first, boys.
One can only hope! I hope it is against the vikings though. I've loved that team since i was a kid, so to see them play the pats in the SB would be cool.

I'm personally a Jets fan, but the way things are looking, NE has a ridiculous shot at winning again. They'd have to crash and burn from some kind of self-sabotage to lose this year. Vikings would be really cool to see!
Best weekend of NFL football all season coming up, let's get those picks in! My picks in bold
Jaguars at Steelers
Titans at Patriots
Falcons at Eagles
Saints at Vikings
More excited for the NFC games this weekend, Saints and Vikings should be the best one but you never know. Would love to see the Titans pull off an upset since they are 13.5 point dogs (!!!!) and that is absurd for a game this late in the season.

The NFC games are way more interesting for sure. In fact, they were last week too. While I'm confident that both the Pats and Steelers will move on, stranger things have happend. To have the Titans as 13.5 point dogs seems insane, but likely a result of how the money has moved the lines. I think that Pats have a shot to go all the way again, but I'm surprised with how much faith people have in them given their horrid defense. Bend and don't break is fine in the regular season, but post season is a different beast.
I'm going to agree with all your above picks, but I think The Eagles will move on for one more week. The winner of the Saints and Vikings will be going to the SB either way though. That's the most interesting game this week by a large margin IMO.

I think Jags / Steelers may be more interesting than people expect. While they looked like garbage last week, it was because of a conservative gameplan where they didn't want Bortles to lose the game. That won't work this week, they'll have to open up the playbook and take some shots downfield. Their #1 ranked pass D is legit too, so it may be a closer game than people think.
out of those 4 i wouldnt be shocked if the steelers or vikings lose. Seen nick foles for a month. Id be shocked if he won a game.
I agree with Quest here except I think the Steelers win for sure, but I also see Saints and Vikings as being close to 50/50. I also am not sold on the Falcons. I think they could let the Eagles off the hook for one week. Atlanta "should" beat Phili but I wouldn't bet money on it.

I'm actually pretty confident Atl will beat Philthy. I don't trust nick bowles to hold up well. The falcons shut down a similar offense in the rams with todd gurley and a better QB.

Didn't know that bird teams are 9-0 at home vs other bird teams in the playoffs. Falcons didn't stand a chance despite being the better team. It's a bird thing.
That sucks. I hate the iggles. Julio came up big in 2 plays but not the one that counted, sadly.
Dallas needs to learn from this though. The cowboys went 13-3 and went 1 and done because their defense. The eagles went 13-3 and won their first playoff game because of their defense. The defense is crucial in the playoffs. Dallas doesn't seem to know that yet.
Nick foles gets a game ball for throwing screen passes and 7 yard hitches . Lmao
Eagles D showed up. Nick Folds didnt lead anything. Freakin nbc. Second half dink and dunk
Eagles arent beating the vikings.
I don't think they can beat the Vikings but I do think they can beat the saints. The saints on the road in the cold are a completely different team than at home. So I'm pulling hard for the Vikings tomorrow. That's the one game I could see the saints winning because of the dome like conditions.

We all knew the Patriots were a better team but the Titans are getting hosed by the officials. Why does the NFL love giving the Patriots help all the time?

I'm just thrilled with an Eagles playoff win. Pederson seemed to have figured out during the bye that Foles cannot run the same offense they were using with Wentz, but I don't expect them to beat the winner of MIN/NO.
We'll see what they're capable of whenever Wentz returns next year. In the mean time, I can't feel bad about 13-3 and an NFC Championship Game appearance.

Von Miller and the No Fly Zone agree. #SB50
What kind of bull crap pass interference call was that!? Throwing the Patriots a bone there.
