That play is gonna be remembered for quite some time. What was williams thinking?
He was early and trying to avoid pass interference.
Yeah he was early, but he could of backed off and at least tackled him down. No pass interference, and he can put diggs down. He did this weird roll instead that really made no sense of what he was hoping to do, maybe get under him to upend him and knock him down?
Nobody else was in the area to stop diggs if he made that catch. Williams wasn't even running, and even hesitated for a second before he did that roll. So it's not like he was too far in motion to change paths. Just a terrible flubb on his part.
BUT everything is always easier from the sideline. I feel bad cause that is going to haunt him.
Phew, that was an incredible finish. Happy to finally be on the right end of a crazy football game for once. Now hopefully we can take care of business against Philly. We will shut down their run game and it's hard to imagine Nick Foles beating our D unless we cough the ball up a few times and give them short fields.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out how the Eagles could win this matchup and it doesnt look too good on paper. Basically, the Vikings just need to limit mistakes and be moderately effective running the ball with a good play action mix on offense and they should score enough points.
lol everyone hates NE so much. Is it because you guys genuinely hate the team/players? Or just because you don't want to see them again because they are almost always in the SB/Conference finals?
alright now jaguars over pats and vikings over eagles.
Keep on picking against us, it's worked for us all season
It'll be a tough game, but our defense is much better than what the Saints had to offer (especially up front).
Playing at the Linc is a whole different animal than Keenum is used to. I'd feel a little better taking the Saints out of the dome and into the cold, but to be honest I'm kinda releaved to not face Drew Brees.
Anyway, on to the NFC championship game. Hopefully Doug can tweek the play calling a little before next week, because I'm sure the Vikings are keying in on what worked for Foles against the Falcons and scheming for it.
I sure miss Wentz, but if our D can hold teams to 10tps or under (as they have the past 3 games) I like our chances
Man I would love just once to see the Vikings in the super bowl in my life. I still can't believe what happened in that game. The 4th quarter played out exactly how I expected...right up until the final play that is.

I hope it happens for you. And with case keenum of all Qbs
Vikings have had much better teams not make it. Still think the vikes had the best team in 09. They were better than the cardinals that year and I think would have beaten the steelers.
This shows you have crappy jeff fisher is. Had keenum and the rams. Keenum now in the nfc championship and the rams were a playoff team 1 year removed. Jeff Fisher sucks.

I'm a rare person that's almost indifferent to the Pats. I do get tired of seeing them in there all the time, but that should make a Pats fan happy. I do respect the team though and Brady is money at clutch time needing to score. He's one of the best I've ever seen in those situations. Really it's only Brady and Belichick that have been there for the dynasty. They have some kind of magic, every damn year.
I kinda like Sean Payton. Is he a jerk? I think he probably is. If I were a Saints fan I would love this stuff. Some would just say he's super-competitive. Whatever it is it makes it more fun since he isn't constantly doing it and he actually has skins on the wall. Where I disagree with the article is where they imply that his team didn't stop Minnesota on that last play because he was taunting the crowd. The Saints lost because of the mental mistake by a single player. They play they called on defense gave their safety the chance to tackle Minnesota in bounds with 3 seconds left in the game. Love him or hate him, he is a good head coach.
Being an Eagles fan I'm hoping for an Eagles VS anyone Superbowl. It would be nice to have a rematch with the Patriots but without Wentz I don't think it's a fair fight. Actually, it seems that whoever faces the Patriots isn't in a fair fight.
With all the shady accusations around the Pats over the years, I truly believe they're a cheating team. I remember thinking how odd it was that the Pats played so much better during the 2nd half of our Superbowl appearance.

Bounty gate was all I needed to make my judgement of him as a dbag. Him taunting devonte Freeman and now this just add to my already concrete judgement.

I see it that way too. But I would have preferred Pittsburg vs New England.

Nah.
Pats - Eagles, please!

I'm rooting for Min-NE. That would be the best game of the 4 potential matchups.
3 of those 4 will be present in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.
2, Case Keenum and Nick Foles will start. Their numbers, respectively, are 7 and 9.

Didn't see that you had jags over pats. I'll take the pats in that one. Love him or hate him, I learned not to bet against Tom Brady a long time ago.

Wow. Sean Payton is still a huge d-bag. lol

That makes Case Keenum's Skol chant after the touchdown that much more sweet
