Super NES HDTV Video Issue
I tried hooking up my original Super NES system to a Samsung HDTV and noticed that the output was considerably darker than it should be, and there was also blur and distortion around the outer edges of the screen. I have other systems hooked up to the same TV through A/V cables (NES, Genesis, etc.) that do not have this problem. I also have another Super NES that outputs video correctly, using the same A/V cables (this system is the redesigned 1995 model, while the one with video problems is an original launch day 1991 model). Does anyone know if this is a common problem with some Super NES systems? Is there a way to fix this? I can try to take pictures if it would help diagnose the problem.
