Just checked and have 8 different NIS collector edition preordered now. Man...
Lol, its getting a little outta hand. I have the ones released so far and the upcoming ones pre ordered. Don't think i realized what i was getting myself into when i bought Disgaea 5 and decided to go for all the Nisa Switch special editions.
I'm glad I realized long ago that I don't give a shit about key chains, or soundtracks, or big oversized boxes. I think it all started when I had all that PSX Lunar crap, and I couldn't figure out why.
...same for the realization that trying to collect all of x when you don't know what x will end up being is way too big of a rabbit hole to fall into
Brock having pics of the games looks good but it seems like a lot of work and more commitment and I'm lazy lol.
DFunk thanks for mentioning more NIS games. They keep pumping out the LEs
Here you go. Not sure if there was an issue with my script, or if imgur and NA like to make minute adjustments, but it's 99.9% there. I missed at least one game in the transition but I couldn't tell what it was. Order is approximately by release date, just drag and drop to make adjustments
I tried to make it vintage friendly but... well, move on you laggards
Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I'm going to have to look into Isaac and the last 5 minutes and shantae a bit more. Also maybe penny punching princess.
What is the game to the left of hello kitty in Brock's post?
Oh, and has anyone played cave story + ? If so, is it any different from Cave Story 3D on the 3DS?
The graphics are overhauled with plus, and the much better resolution is well, obvious. I didnt care for it on 3DS so I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it thesecondgo around
Add Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk Limited Edition and Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded Limited Edition from NISA to the list. 2018 TBD, but up for pre-order.
EDIT: Didn't see D-FUNK's post on it a couple of pages back when I posted, but I listed the names for those who didn't catch it.
Has anyone played Wonderboy yet? I'm on the fence about it
It's awesome but short. It can be beaten in under 2 hours once you know where to go. It was my fave game for SMS so it was an easy purchase for me based on nostalgia alone.
The Wonder Boy remake is pretty interesting. I really liked Assault Suit Leynos (which didn't come out on Switch but still) as well. Would be nifty seeing some more remakes that are still pretty true to the original but with nicely drawn graphics.

Like AC said, it is short, but I'd highly recommend it. The remaster is absolutely gorgeous both in visuals and audio. I also really enjoyed the "retro mode" and did a 2nd playthrough with the original graphics/audio just to grow my appreciation for the original.
I've now go Wonderboy when it showed up the other day and then yesterday added Portal Knight as well. I've not used much or got anything new since the Bethesda stuff came out so it's nice to have something to do. I'm on the fence with DQ Builders I hate to admit, maybe later still as I like the RPG it is based on.

I got it for Valentines Day and i'm likin it so far! Built myself a little tower!
Started plkaying dragon quest builders last night and got hooked. Its the fun of minecraft, but with direction lol. I would always get bored in minecraft after a few hours, I enjoy the quests/goals working towards.
That was my only problem. I bought minecraft and after like 3 days of digging and making a basic home, then not having any idea how to make better stuff without just running to a wiki site basically cheating to make things I quit. I'll go back to it every year or two and fizzle out in a few hours as it's the same aimless junk without direction, plus I've had points where common resources aren't in my area at all or even a fair range so some building of useful things just can't happen which is a game ruiner too.
Portal Knights is basically DQB but I think with a little more direction maybe so you can keep popping between almost RPG like lands for more stuff and portal back to your base or move it if you like to grow towards an objective. It seems fare more organized and objective based so you feel rewarded with progress and not confusion.
I've never played any game in that genre, but I'm automatically wary of anything every 8 year old in the country loves. Probably a reason why I've never played a Pokemon either
I wasn't gonna buy another game until I either finished Skyrim or Dark Souls came out, but now I'm thinking I might grab something in the next couple weeks. Possibly Tiny Barbarian, Rayman Legends, The End is Night, Wonderboy, or ittle Dew 2

Damn, that is one intricate and stellar looking Dong Tower, if I do say so myself!

All - updated the OP with the 5 games released today.
Brock looks good, but not sure what to do with that (I am not super techy).

And a key chain, soundtrack, and reversible cover art.

The reversible cover art is absolutely awesome.

Fixed Wonder Boy
is there a difference in 1st and 2nd prints for Gear Club? If not I can just take out the exclusive comment on the list
Since there is no collectors editions sections for japan/Europe I will just make a note on Death Squared
One piece is out in Europe. So how does everyone want games listed that are out in Japan AND Europe but not NA?
Voez is confirmed English? Ok I will update

Added Riding Champion to the above post. If you're having trouble AC I can ask someone like Jone or empire to edit it in
