HELP!!

Hello all,

I got this about 5-8 yrs ago from a collector who sold me a bunch of Mega Man stuff.  I never had the heart to open it cause it was sealed.  I still havent opened it.  Has anybody seen this or received a box from Capcom like it?  I have a big feeling it's Mega Man and may even open it someday.  I guess I'll wait and see if anybody here knows what it is image

    How big is the box?? Also is there any dates on it or anything??

    Take it to an airport, or the court house and put it through the x-ray machine. I would imagine they would be nice enough to tell ya.

    The postmark is 1997 and the box is about 6' X 4' and about four inches deep - hope that makes sense image

    Well i'm not positive they would. But if I worked at one I'd help you out. Worth a shot.

    Just make sure you wear a trenchcoat, hat, and sunglasses when you walk into the court house with a box so you don't look under-dressed

    I'd just open it. It's probably some promo if anything. If it's a promo or something, it's probably sealed in it's own package inside the outer box. the outer box looks just like a standard capcom shipping box.

    Not that I think it's worth anything near this, but the date is the same and the size fits too...maybe I will open it and post pics of whatever it is.

Of note however, the statue once had a resin crack near an arm, but has since been repaired.

    Open it, the outer shipping box being sealed won't make it worth anymore no matter what is. You will never be able to "prove" what is in there any other way.

    O.K. - for all my Nintendoage friends, I did it! Here are some pics from what was inside. I'm kinda glad I opened it - I actually forgot all about it till I was moving some things - plus I think the lil blue bomber needed some fresh air image I didn't take him all the way out though cuz I didn't want to break the little guy - Chow ~ Am

    I was gonna suggest perhaps it was number 172/1000 for the model because the outside of theo box had 172 on it image
