Pioneer Laserdisc with Sega Module; Model CLD-A100

I picked up a Pioneer LD Model CLD-A100 with the Sega Module, and one controller yesterday. eBay has one ending today, with one bid at $1,000.00, a few others sold right around $1,035.00, and a few sold between $350.00 - $500.00. The varience in price seems odd, I am guessing the "true" value is probably the $350.00 mark, but was wondering if someone had more informaion? If I can flip it at the $1,000.00 price I may, but if it's closer to the $350.00 - $500.00 I'll probably hold on to it (it does look nice next to the NES Sharp).

Comments

  • The unit that sold for $350 was for parts. That would explain the substantial price difference. Pretty sweet item, congrats on the find.
  • How freaking cool is that!

Kinda weird in the ebay post that the pictures are off of a computer and not the actual item...
  • So sweet. You selling?

    Does it work well?
  • Thanks, King, I'm pretty stoked! Gotta love the obscure pieces.
  • Yea, the pics were a red flag to me, and one bid? 'Friend-proxy' is what I think of.
  • It does work well, well, the Sega and CD player do. I'll be checking the Laserdisc this weekend. As for selling...? I think I'm going to hold onto it for now, unless the right trade came across.
