Gameboy Pokemon Yellow Sealed, VGA? Pics!

hi

yeah... I know ebay, gamevaluenow http://gamevaluenow.com/gameboy/game/pokemon-yellow-version?gameid=337#new etc... but I like the opinion of trully gamers here!

a local seller has a pokemon yellow sealed, see pics here: https://imgur.com/a/Tzm4R

1. is trully sealed? it looks real to me, not resealed.

2. price?

3. it worth send to VGA to grade? it get at least NM 85+?

4. has the ESRB in black, I think is the 1st release? I see some without any esrb and other with white and others in black, the without any logo looks more nice IMO.

any help please!

THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am no expert on sealed games, but I can offer my two cents for you.

    1.) It is legit

2.) IDK - my guess is upwards of $200 given condition

3.) I don't think you'll get a NM 85+ with the bottom corners looking that way. But I am not knowledgeable by any means on the subject.

4.) Black E = 2nd release. It is the rev-1 version. All NTSC versions were either White E (rev-0) or Black E (rev-1), never any without either.

  • Assuming that corner is the ONLY wear the item has, it might get an 85. Add in the other inevitable wear and I'm guessing it's an 80 / 80+. If your goal is an 85+, keep looking.
