  • Yesterday I won an auction for Hello Kity Kruisers on ebay.

Will put my hands on it next week.

Now I just need a fullset list to check what I already have.

Does someone have one and emailed it to me?

Missing some packaging variants but the core titles is complete

  • Game stop has Star Fox Zero listed for $4.99 on line sale only limit 2.
  • GameStop also has a 4 for $10 sale on all preowned games $4.99 and under. I was able to grab 4 copies of Star Fox Zero/Guard, still sealed, for $8 with my membership discount
  • My local GameStop converted their new copies of Starfox to used. Combined with the 4 for $10 deal and elite pro, I picked up a new copy of starfox for $2.
  • Weird, the $4 for 10 isn't working for me online. Only the Elite Pro discount is showing up for each used game. Anyone else have this problem?

Logged out and tried without Elite Pro, but still same thing the 4 for 10 isn't showing up. Promotion over?
  • Shantae Half-Genie Hero is available on Switch for double the price of the Wii U game.

Who ever said the Wii U library was worthless since everything is getting ported! At least we didn't get squeezed for every penny like a sucker

This is hilarious. There's obviously huge demand for this game on Wii U, so a Switch port only makes sense
  • I was at my local Five Below and they had sealed copies of Assassin's Creed 3 and Guitar Hero Live Bundle for $5 each
  • Were these guitar hero games at 5 below near the other video games or somewhere else in the store? I didn’t see any in the two stores near me but stock is always ymmv and those guitar hero games may be coming some

The ones I saw were loose on the floor in a toy section, nowhere even close to the other games/electronics
  • What's a fair price for a working Wii U Gamepad?

$4 here, and that's in Canadian money

  • ^ haha Jesus Christ. I thought I did good paying $20 for a new set. Mind you I've had it for a while now. Is that your local Walmart, Bert?
  • I still shudder to think how much money Activision lost on that game.

Haha, yeah they had several copies of guitar hero and I wanna say they had some copies of just dance as well? There was something else but I can't remember what. It wasn't anything good

I saw Five Below had Guitar Hero and Assassin's Creed III for $5. I picked up AC3 even though I'll probably never play it.

Edit: Saw up above that this was already in the thread, sorry about that!

If you got a ToysRUs nearby might want to watch that. Mine is nearly closed out with nearly all the games sold. They did have a stack of these leftover. Discount was 30% off. I’m sure that discount will get better before this game sells out there.

Any idea when Toys R Us's are supposed to be closing and everything going up for clearance? I've checked several stores in my area but not one is having any sort of store closing sale yet, but I've noticed inventory has been dwindling rapidly even without the sale. I guess it varies by location.

Bankruptcy document says it should start March 22 for the stores not previously announced as closing. The one near me that was one of the first to close is at “up to 60% off” but video games have been stuck at 30, accessories at 50. Switch stuff was excluded and the demo units were being sold back to vendor. A lot of toys were stuck at 20 off too. Still the place is still somehow cleares out.

Okay cool so...soon. I will have to keep my eye on any closing sales. Even if Switch stuff doesn't get discounted, my store still had a pretty good Wii U selection. For some reason I haven't had much interest in collecting for the Wii U until after the Wii U was completely discontinued. There's something about a console becoming defunct that makes it more appealing to collect for.
  • Under $10 games at Gamestop:

    4-for-$20

    4-for-$16 (Pro)

    4-for-$12 (Elite)

Good time to mop up those Lego, Batman, and old Just Dance games. It's probably not a matter of what's on sale, but rather what your local store has in stock.
  • Just picked up Fast & Furious Showdown which completes my collection. Well, completes my collection until Just Dance 2019 or whatever comes out. Feels good to be done for now though.

Just to add to the TRU talk, I visited mine in Iowa today and it was a weak 10% off of everything, and only 5% on video games, but that looked to include the Switch systems though.

Same here. Very weak indeed. I'm sure as the weeks go on and more stuff is sold, whatever is left will become 20 or 30% off or something. Disappointing clearance sale. :-/
