  • Lol, was just checkin out the collectors edition. Gotta preorder!
  • I ordered one too. Although, NISA is tarting to piss me off. I ordered PPP and Longest 5 Minites together almost a year ago and still haven't gotten them because of some BS mix up on their part and I can't even get a response on when to expect my stuff.
  • Someone else has to beat it for Gloves' thread. I cant do two of those games in one year

  • No im trading it off with Skyrim. Still a way to go
  • Updated fallen legion.

Is Nintendo LABO considered two games (variety kit and robo kit) or is that one game and a variant? How do you guys think it should be listed. Right now I have listed it as two separate games.

How are the Skylanders games listed?

Id imagine it would be the same thing as that.

Skylanders typically had a portal owners version, full version and then a dark version. There was also the version with crayons.

The hardware was different but the software with those games was the same.

Someone on reddit has posted a picture of their home menu with two separate icons, which makes me think the software is different between sets.

  • Yeah I believe that the software included with the different kits are different games. I would say it should count as separate games.

I'm curious what people's thoughts on it are if anyone here got it. I have to admit I'm kind of interested in it, but I think it would be a one-and-done deal for me so I'm not gonna buy it yet. I watched a video of someone playing music with it though and it does look neat.
  • Maybe if my kids were older. I personally have no interest
  • My wife said no so my kid doesn't get to be a robot.

Well that makes it an easy decision.

Different software = each one counts.

  • Yup I agree. I'll leave it as it is
  • Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition is coming to the switch this summer in physical and digital formats, per LRG

  • That's pretty funny. But it's near impossible to get LRG stuff, right? I can't be sitting waiting for the second it goes live.

They've been doing open pre-orders for Switch games so far, so basically anyone that wants one has the chance to get it. They've also done limited runs of special editions for the games, but Thimbleweed Park and the two Switch games coming next week are both open preorder, so I imagine this will be too.

  • Oh, okay. I might get Night Trap then.

Ive done maybe 10 orders and never had an issue

    Also, open preorders

Far from impossible.  It's pretty easy actually.  The only reason you might think that is because the people who have trouble tend to be louder than those of us without issues.  If you are logged into LRG and your payment method beforehand and you will most likely get whatever you want.  The stories of bots buying  up everything are grossly exaggerated.

And with pre-orders, even less chance of issues.

Scrolling down through their replies on that twitter post they makr reference that all of their Switch standard editions will be open pre-orders. Might be something they had to do to appease Nintendo which if true is fantastic! No worries about missing any releases due to not reacting quick enough

  • The pre-order thing is a good way to do things.  The one downside is "Limited Run Games" is much less limited.  They print however many orders they get for those two weeks.  For Thimbleweed that was well over 10,000 copies.  Where most of there Vita and PS4 runs were less then half that.  I'm sure because this was the first release on Switch it had higher order numbers and future runs may end up being lower.  But overall, I'm happy with it, really cuts down on scalpers and people who want the game but click on the order button two minutes too late.
  • the collectors editions of LRGs will be the rarer versions. As with most things i guess but So far for the first 2 only 3,000 copies per.
  • This ought to bring completionists to tears! Almost $1,400 for Disgaea Refine super-special-ultra-rare-collector's-edition-DX: https://nintendosoup.com/japans-disgaea-refine-famitsu-dx-box-costs-1300-dollars/. Happy importing!
  • Didn't see this posted anywhere yet but Mega Man X collection set for July 24th

And TBH, 10K is still pretty damn limited.  The only reason we think of 3-5K print runs as "normal" or "really limited" is that was what they started off with.  I'm of the opinion they should do the collector's editions as preorders too, but that's just my 2 cents.  I just hate the rush feeling you have to show up at the website like clockwork in order to even have a chance to spend your money.

  • But they're called Limited Run Games. They can't fuck you over if you don't rush to order a limited amount. Because, let's be real, they are preying on collectors and appealing to scalpers.
  • To update, I received the Gal Gun 2 Free Hugs Edition on Friday.

Have you opened your game yet? Mine has a misprint, wonderin if this is wide spread for most of the 1st run of the game or what. The insert has the Wild Guns/Natsume warranty. I checked and its only 1 insert. Gal Gun 2 printed on the outside, wild guns inside.
