Heyo,
Wanted to know if someone here knows about neo geo games
And especially 'authentication of aes carts which I've seen done ( while looking at sold listings for games )

Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding that ?

    You pretty much just open the cartridge and compare the PCBs to the scanned legitimate PCBs. Look for jumper wires or any descrepencies etc. Tons of bootlegs, they work but aren't worth as much obviously.  They  still have value if they are marketed as such.

    AES counterfeit carts are pretty few and far between. What you will find more of are conversions. Which again have a market. One of the big things is to make sure the game actually game out on AES, not everything did. The big problem with AES is that you will want to verify the boards and doing that is much more difficult than on MVS and most AES sellers are not going to be willing to open the cart because of damage to the label.

    This is the game I just got yesterday

    And basically saw a ebay listing for it for a good amount of $ and they had a 'proof' document of it being real.

    Personally I think this is legit because I got a couple more games in the sale I went to and the actual system ( beat up to hell but I had to get it )

    I'm getting a 403 error trying to view them, they are broken links on my side. Do you have some sort of setting on them to make them private?

    Nope - don't think theirs a private setting on the board and if their is I wouldn't know how to set that up hehe
