Need help Camerica game does not work

Need help Camerica game does not work, tried everything, this bothers me its the only game that does not work,  tried changing switch positions, contacts are clean I just cant get it to work.

    you have an extra resistor in-line with diode 3 compared to my Micro Machines (same board) is that how some were made or is this perhaps a 'repair' someone made later?

    My guess is the switch has gone out. Are you using a toaster or a top loader? I'd try both models if you have them.

    That switch doesn't look good, can I see a higher resolution image? Looks like it's been poorly replaced and bridged/possibly burnt on the pads. There are some legs of the IC that don't even have solder in the holes and the capacitor at the top doesn't have any solder. Can't say for sure without better quality.

    I'm using a toaster with the lockup chip disabled, I know its a cheap game but it still bothers me that it does not work.

    No Cart left behind.
