  • And here i hate myself for having doubles of games lol.
  • Congrats on the website i just checked it out, I enjoyed the way it looked and the font matching the game. Well done!

I might have an extra cartridge , PM me if interested
  • Wow, very cool website with just the right amount of quirkiness. Well done!
  • Thank goodness. I thought you were going to announce that you had sold off the collection and not going for 1000 anymore. I'll definitely nab any cheap Dragon Warriors I come across, and I'll put humorous save file names into it, to be immortalized forever.
  • That website reminded of websites built in the late 90's with angelfire hahaha, you just need some geocities ads and you are golden

I like this I am kind of trying to do something odd with Final Fantasy like every conceivable item like SNES 3 but also super famicom 6 and x111 on ps3 and xbox360 etc, or the x and x-2 hd remastered for both ps3 and ps4. Which reminds me I need to go back and grab that x111 i saw for xbox360 even though I have the ps3 version and I don't own a ps3 or xbox360.
  • I was hoping that you had glued them into an actual throne like that Famicom one in Japan.
  • amazing!!!

hey, can you disclose the purchase price of the unorthodox from space jockey?

Sometimes changing your "focus" in collecting keeps the thrill alive.  Like going after bulk amounts of a game, collecting subsets, etc.

    This brings me joy

At this point you might as well put numbers on them and make them a deck of cards!

  • So much Mashin Eiyūden Wataru, no little time. That's insane having that many of those games which so many just love to rip on for sport.
  • Big response to the site this past week. Website now has it's first update.

  • I saw the pics, the website documentation, the quest. In one way, I think the whole thing is brilliant! Such an interesting goal, and something that will be fun to watch grow over the course of the months / years, especially neat that there is a proto thrown into the mix.

On the other hand, once you reach your goal, do you plan to keep the carts, sell them, or what? I shudder to think about selling my own collection, and trying to move something like this makes me shudder even more.

Right now, it's uncertain. I do have several thoughts on the subject, though, and any one of them will be grandoise. This much I can assure you.
  • Just super glue them all together to make an actual throne and not just loose stacks on the sides of a chair.

Bury them in a landfill and then in 30 years dig them back up and sell them at a hefty markup.
  • Update on the website, for those following along.

    Fixed.

I didn't actually hyperlink it, that's something the site does, and in this case, did it wrong.
  • Just looked at it. EPIC!
  • The website has been updated and is finally current. New posts and updates from here on out.
  • New update featuring NintendoTwizer!
  • New update featuring a mystery cart!
  • Is there a chance you can cover the Giveaway in your dragon warrior site?

Are you referring to the "Sign up for Nintendo Power and get a free copy of Dragon Warrior" giveaway that happened in the late 80's?

  • Thinking about it now... would have been cool to see the Dragon Warrior pile in Bits of Yesterday.
