Albert Odyssey (Sega Saturn) manual price check / availability

I am looking for an Albert Odyssey (Sega Saturn) manual (not a reproduction).

This is my first "expensive project" I've attempted since I returned to collecting. Let me know if you have any leads.

I recently found the promotional inserts in a manual bin at a local store for 4 dollars.

I have the disc with the original case (cracked badly in the front), and spine/back art in good condition.

Have any of you come across the manual in your stores? I'm 3/4ths into completing it. I just need the registration card and manual.

Is it worth the trouble? I know I can get a repro, but it doesn't have the "shimmery" gloss in the logo of the original working designs manual. I am a bit of a completist when I'm this far in to finishing a CIB. My understanding is they are worth between 35-50 dollars, but haven't been sold in some time on eBay.

  • I had terrible, terrible luck when trying to piece together bits and pieces of a game (manual, disc, back cover) so I started exclusively only buying CIB because it was a lot less stressful. With that being said, I wish you good luck and I'll keep my eye out for you.
  • Yeah, I am considering just buying a 6 dollar reproduction manual for the time being... it would be "cib", just have a repro manual. I'm sure the manual will turn up one day.
  • The promotional poster inside seems harder to find than the manual, and I already have the original spine/back/case. I found it digging through a manual bin for 4 bucks. Some people advertise them as CIB that don't have the promotional inserts.
  • I'd think a manual, if one came up, would probably be around $40-60.
  • I have also made the mistake of buying disc only Saturn and PS1 games. The manuals are hard to come by, but the backs and spine cards are almost impossible to find separate.
