Wavebird Fuse Value

Hello, while doing a rechargeable battery mod on my wavebird controller I was an idiot and reversed the polarity and I have blown the F101 fuse. I do not want to attempt to bypass it and risk burning up some other components so I was wondering if anyone knows what the value of that fuse was as I cannot seem to find it listed anywhere.     Dunno, but worst case there should be a surplus of controllers versus receivers so I'd pull from another parts Wavebird if need be.

    In all honesty. If you are using batteries, you should never see it blow again so jumping it shouldn't be the worst thing. On top of that, these things are running off of 3V and draw little to no current. I do not see an issue in jumping the fuse.

    not sure but if you want a solution you may be able to salvage one off of a broken wavebird.

    While that would work that really isn't cost effective imo, plus if I burn the fuse off while trying to desolder it would then be all for nothing.

    That scan is pretty useless, do you have a magnifying glass to see if there are any markings on the component? Companies think we are too stupid to deserve schematic diagrams for the electronic products we buy so not too sure what can be done since I can't find anything online about it.

    The only marking I can see on it is an "F".

    I would guess its a Pico fuse. Similiar to what Sega CD had, many were burned up due to wrong polarity Power adaptors being used I believe.



    Yours is a surface mount fuse I think.

    Yeah I know it was an SMD fuse, I just don't know what value. :/
