  • Well, I just did a pre-order at Amazon for Octopath Traveler. They had a 20% discount for just yesterday and I had a $25 gift card my employer sent me for my birthday on July 6th. In total, I think I paid $20ish.

I also just won this auction:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/lot-or-9-1988-Nintendo-manuals-game-booklets-instructions-strategy-books-/273345945005?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&nma=true&si=GzTnrlX9gN5U2pSZVW5zLRJVazs%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Specifically, I've been wanting that "Nintendo Strategies" unofficial guide because my grandpa bought it for his house when I was young. I also thought that Unofficial Zelda strategy guide looked cool, and with the additional, original NES paper, I figured the price was reasonable. The strategy guide in good shape was worth the price for me personally. I think it goes for cheaper, but I just like the whole package.

    EDIT

Linked image from eBay for the lazy...

  • I try not to double post but I just found these two games for $1 each.  Not the best score, but good enough.  Oh, and the really awesome, vintage, well worn gun belt was $10.

(Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I posted this because of the gun belt.  This thing is friggin awesome!)

  • Today’s pickups. The Switch games came VIA Amazon Prime and the Classic was picked up at the local GameStop.

  • Random smattering of new games! Most recent switch pick ups and a sweet Gamecube/GBA bundle i got from Empire! Thanks again bhed!

  • Got these w the Best buy sale + GCU
  • Yesterday I was able to survive some last minute snipers and won an auction for a minty fresh Nintendo Fun Club News Issue #1. My limit to what I would spend on the issue, and why it has taken me such a long while to find one as I had to pass on quite a few lesser quality and higher price offerings, was $350. I was able to get it for just under that limit. Winning that auction completes my collection of Nintendo Fun Club News. I now have all 7 issues in minty fresh condition. I only have select issues of Nintendo Power outside of the ones I got as a kid, but figured I'd get the full Fun Club News set. Took me quite a while, but I was able to do it for relatively low cost. (Aside from issues 1-3 which each cost me a pretty penny).

  • The Pc star wars and snes chess were $2 at a thrift store and the ds and disks were salvaged from curbside trash. I want to know what the ds cart missing a label is but have no ds system.

  • Look up the number on the back and you should be able to find out

This was my first thought also but after googling it every ds cart has the same NTR-005 stamp. There isnt any other differences I can see? I want to crack it open but theres no screws or tabs.

  • Alright there is a serial number CS 0-4 C01-10 it is under the plastic visible on the green part of the chip but I can not find a log of these nor a search though google.
  • It arrived in the mail today, no pictures yet, but I got my Fun Club News Issue #1. Kind of painful when it arrived in my hands and I realized I paid a decent chunk of money on 6 pages of paper. haha. I just don't see these come available very often, or when they do they are in poor shape or incomplete.

This one is in fantastic shape with no stains or tears or any creases not expected. (All fun club news early issues have a fold right in the middle where it was folded prior to shipping out for distribution). Just happy to have that collection complete. The entire 7 issue Fun Club News set in minty fresh condition.

Darnit, It definitely does not have any codes similar to that... I have not owned a handheld since the GBA. I cant really sell it without a name. And theres nothing on google for opening or identifieing one with missing label.
  • I've added these games the last couple months. I've spent $345, 13 of the games are still sealed. Now I just need a ps4.
  • Latest Switch games and snagged Drill Dozer from an NA member!   the racing games were 1/2 off at gamestop so i said F it and grabbed em.

Awesome!  That Dimension Drive looks pretty cool.  I'll need to add it to the thread somewhere.
  • Just started collecting for PlayStation 8-9 months ago and this is everything I've picked up in that time. Paid a small fraction for all these in comparison to what they're worth. Most of all these games have came from thrift stores. Was extremely lucky to get some heavy hitters.

This is an excellent set of games!  Lots of great titles here.

I am a huge Playstation fan, and I have most, but not all of these games.  You definitely have good taste and have a great set going.

Valkyrie Profile is a great game and has a beautiful soundtrack, IMO.  I could say the same about Wild Arms, and several others there as well.  Keep it up and good luck!
