Mortal Kombat Super Famicom bootleg

I picked this up as part of a lot with a SNES console and a few other games. Did a Google search and found a couple posts on here with similar carts, but none showing the pcb. It definitely looks like a cheap bootleg to me, but what are your thoughts on it and it's value?

  • Was it ever discussed where this label art came from? Maybe a teaser ad in one of the popular gaming mags?

I do think it's a reasonable piece to own, but wouldn't think to pay more than $15 for it.
  • Reminds me of an SFC bootleg I found around 2006/2007:

The case doesn't have GameBit screws and it uses DIP chips though, which I thought was a more recent development (no screws is cheaper).
  • Also, it runs great in my NTSC SNES..
  • I think I have this same cart, only boxed or cib.

Yes, these were made for Asian region, so NTSC

I have no idea about prices though, at least it's a popular franchise, might get more people interested in it
