Nintendo Playchoice 10 available locally

Some guy near me is selling a Nintendo Playchoice 10 cabinet +2 of the games for $850:

I seem to recall this cabinet being rare, but I don't remember. It looks a little beat up. What do y'all think?

    Control panel looks a bit rough, so you have some cabinet refurb work ahead of you.



    But the monitors look too be in good shape, so it all seems cosmetic, rather than functional.



    Depending on how much refurb you're interested in, at $850, even with just 2 games, I'd be tempted, since replacement cosmetic parts aren't that tough to deal with, and relatively few games from that era have decent condition original side art anyway.  (NOS side art used to be available for Nintendo cabs at decent prices -- haven't looked in awhile, though, so maybe that's no longer the case)



    I'd say push him for a couple more games at that price, if you really want it.





    I know better deals on these come up, so patience can pay off.

    But if you really want a PC10 the price is far from the worst we've seen.









    EDIT:  that said... looking back at the picture, my concern would be that the game list on the dual-monitor pictures doesn't match the list of games in his posting.



    Makes it look sketchier than it should.

    No sideart, pretty worn, only 2 common games and no gun. Hard pass at $850. You can do better. Hold out for one with a gun too, you'll regret it if you don't.
