Thanks for the update! Just noticed also that WWF Superstars (both #1 and #2) for original Game Boy are not in the database. Keep up the good work, much appreciated
They are there :-). Could you not find them in the collection tracker?
Very glad to see this. Throughout the thread during this, there were various members including myself mentioning things not listed in the database. Do you think these will be added soon? Additionally, new games that have been released are not in the database yet. Doesn't look like much of anything was added in 2018 yet. Any word on this? Thanks!
All games released in 2018 and games listed in this thread will most certainly be added into both the main site and the collection tracker.
I'm still seeing differences between My Collection value and the Lookup value, i.e. South Park Stick of Truth PS3 ($10.52 vs $5.46). Is it still being worked on?

Thanks for the heads up on this. I just checked myself and there most certainly is a problem. I will work on this tomorrow and get this squared away.

I found the problem :-). Values should all match what is currently live on GVN. Thanks again for pointing this out!
Hey Hoagie, I just noticed a bug. I wanted to export my lists so I could reformat my Wanted and For Sale posts on here. I exported the document and I noticed that though it exports both my collection, and my want list, I don't see a column that defines which is which. In other words, my wanted games are mixed in with the games I already own, so there's no way to filter the list.
Could you modify your export query to include a collection type ID? Thanks.

Hey Hogie. I noticed that three games in my collection have a zero value. Sonic Mania Plus on the Switch, NIV Bible & the 20 Lost Levels of Joshua on the Game Boy, and Ishido Way of the Stone on Atari Lynx. Also, CJ Elephant Fugitive for the Game Gear still isn't listed to be added to the site. Unless I am somehow missing it.
I haven't played around with the 5 score vs 3 screw entries, last I did they were both listing the same price. Has this been corrected yet? A lot of the scre variants, if not all, also don't have a picture.
Any plans to add the different cartridge color variants for Color Dreams games? For example, the black cart Captain Comic or King Neptune.
I love the tracker and use it exclusively to track my NES and SNES collection, I find that it makes collecting that much more fun. Thanks for all the hard work, it has really paid off with a great site!

I just added CJ Elephant Fugitive, Fixed the issue with Ishido Way of Stone (There is no "the" between "of" and "stone") and also fixed the issue with NIV Bible. All should have values in the next day or so. Sonic Mania Plus was just added and will have a value tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder!

Adding color dreams and Wisdom Tree variants is on the list of todos. :-)
5 screw vs 3 screw are coming along. Some are valued higher than their 3 screw couterpart. Some are not.
I've held off on asking because I know that data needs to accumulate but is Octopath Traveler in there. (Shame on me. I'm posting this and didn't check first.)

I can definitely make this happen. :-)
Thanks man, I saw that you added this column. Big help!
Ok, another usability question-- can you make it so that a parameter can be added to the "Share your collection" link, so we can default the link to a specific tab? That way, I can create a specific link to my "Wants" list. Now, other collectors have to go to my collection and then navigate to the "Want List". I've had a few traders not notice this and offer to trade me stuff that I own, because the link in my sig defaults to My Collection, and I don't think there's a way to change it.
Bonus request-- add a filter parameter for a specific collection. That way, if someone's interested in just "Game Boy" or "Saturn" games, I can either send them a link to all of my "Saturn" stuff for trade, or a list of all of the GB games in my "Wanted List".
Do you think it can be an option to be able to have a value by condition? Instead of using the average only?
Let's try an exemple : if I judge I've a game CIB 10/10 condition (from my opinion, when I compare with market).. It would be great if I could mark it as a 10/10, and instead of having the average value of all the sold for that game, it could be the average of the 10% of the more expensive sold. If I mark my game as a 6/10, so the value could be the average of the 10% of the not 30% most expensive sold, and the not 50% of the cheapest sold... well I dunno if you understand.. but it's clear for me! Lol
I know sometime a 10/10 game sold for a 7/10 price and a 4/10 can sold for a 8/10 price... but I guess it could be a great add..
I have had this exact same thought. This idea works very well when there is alot of data at your disposal (mario karts, smash bros ... etc), but fails when you have a game that does not sell very often. I'm not saying that it isn't possible, but I have yet to come up with a solution that will work across all consoles :-(.
Hi! No solution yet? Maybe lauch ot at leadt for the otems having enough volume would be a good start? Maube low volume you could split only in 2 condition : very good or bad and split the sells in on’y 2 (or 3,4,5 depending of the volume)..
Why is it that every time I add a game that isn't already in the database, my game gets added as a "User Created Item" and then eventually a completely different entry for the same game is later added? One example is Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for PS4, which wasn't in the database when I bought that game, so I created it, but now there is a separate entry for that game that's different from the one I added. This has also been the case numerous times for Limited Run Games. I've added them because they weren't already on the site, and then I come back a month later and somebody else added a different one.
Either I'm doing something wrong, or the site doesn't actually want users adding missing games. If the latter is the case, that's quite unfortunate because if I don't add a game as soon as I buy it, I'm going to forget to add it later once a "non User Created Item" version of it eventually gets added.

What you are probably doing is adding a custom thing to your collection. You probably arent adding something site wide. So they add the game later and boom you got both.
GVN isnt going to let users just create stuff everywhere for the site. Common sense that that would be a nightmare.
Hey Hogie, just curious if you plan to add a Avg New Price/Game: and New Set Value: under Daily Stats? I know sealed games vary greatly based on condition but it would be nice to have.
Many Snes, nes, 3ds system variant missing. Also anything comming for strategy guide tracking?
I just got caught up on Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 games for the year. I'll start working on getting more hardware added soon. Sadly, strategy guides are not a priority at the moment. Doesn't mean we won't add them later on though :-).

Unfortunately no. I do not see a way to do this and have it be sustainable :-(. We already spend quite a bit of time on our prices daily as is.
Thanks, there are some games that have the wrong picture attached.
PS1
Blood Omen Legacy of Cain collection is missing picture
Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22 Greatest hits is missing picture
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone is missing picture
PS2
Ghost Recon black label has a greatest hits picture
Silent Hill 2 has the wrong picture
PS3
Disney Infinity 3.0: Starter pack is missing picture
I'll work on getting these added tonight.

I can look into this and see what the charts look like. Originally, we simply did not have enough data to put any type of value on a Full "New" set.

I wish there was a way to add a full set to your collection that way you don't have to add each game manually.
You can upload a spreadsheet/CSV so if you havea collection list, try that.
Thanks for all the work you put into this!

This is how I added my 2,700 games. It worked about 70% of the time which is pretty good as far as I'm concerned.
