Game Boy Asciiware wall display name?

Hi everbody, i'm interested in finding out info on a Asciiware product for the Game Boy.  It is a square that hangs on the wall that holds 16 games in display.  It has on the right (i think) a panel that opens.  It is in the colour style and texture of the large Game Boy Asciiware carry case.  Any info or a general point in the right direction would be a great help!

Cheers.

Thanks for all replies!!!  I now know what it's called, prices I have no idea.

  • Is the picture correct, I think I may have one, but it definitely isn't that picture, it came with the original box, so I'll see if I can dig up a picture
  • Yeah you are referring to the ASCII Showcase System Display. They are pretty slick wall pieces. A member here had one for sale a little bit ago and they come up on eBay time to time.

What kind of info are you after? Not too much out there, but you can search the formal name and get a few pieces here and there. Some from this site....

  • Thanks for the info!  I wanted to know the cost really, prefabbly not sealed as I want to store my rare games in it.  I have no comparrison as I have only seen one and that was last year.

    Thank you
  • That's the one!  I'm looking at getting a nice condition one that is not sealed as I want to use it.  I've no idea on value as i've only ever seen one before!

    Thanks for the pics!!!!
  • I used that picture to show the pattern and style off of the large case compared to the display case.  Sorry for any mix up!
  • $300 was last BIN. One ended a little low around $100 shipped at auction last year. I'd say $2-300 is the going rate at auction depending on interest levels. These were opened, used displays.
  • Wow I knew they were rare but that is a fair chunk of change!  I may save that to last for my collection as have higher priorities for that sort of money, especially as i'm in the UK!

Thank you for letting me know!
