You bring in the extra defender to get a mismatch in the box, gordon would either shade that single high safety and would cause a huge impact to what defenses have to do. Its not just about getting him the ball. Its about attention of a defense.

The irony is that the rule change responsible for the Matthews call was put in place during the off-season because of when Aaron Rodgers got hurt by being landed on top of. I think the NFL has a general favoritism towards Aaron Rodgers and Brady. They help them both out a lot with penalties. For once it comes back to bite him.

Dak played better for sure. He still had miscues but he was decisive and made good adjustments. defense was in focus. Offense still isn't quite in sync and needs to improve and click. But this game gave me hope that maybe this season isn't a total wash yet.
Okay, chiming in on the Steelers/KC game. I thought the season was over after the first quarter. Good lord Mahomes may just be the real deal. I know it's only been two games and granted the Steelers defense is not the Steelers defense of years past. It's actually pretty rotten.

Also if I'm the browns I reach out to Dez Bryant again and see if I can sweeten the pit a little for him. I believe the original offer was 1 year $5 mil. Make it $6 mil or something.
As a Pats fan, I'd be surprised if Gordon makes it to Thanksgiving, but for a conditional 5th it's a no-brainer. And if he works out, he's under contract cheap for a few years.
