watch him go to the patriots and be randy moss 2.0 for brady

We don't have a QB that will throw it to him deep consistently nor accurately.

Its not about that. Its about talent that can draw extra coverage. You bring in the extra defender to get a mismatch in the box, gordon would either shade that single high safety and would cause a huge impact to what defenses have to do. Its not just about getting him the ball. Its about attention of a defense.

Possibly. But if he doesn't even get thrown to anyway none of that stuff happens because he isn't a threat.
  • Ouch, I hope the Browns rookie kicker didn't buy a home in Cleveland!
  • Wow, Vikings rookie kicker, same scenario!
  • Dan Bailey is going to become the nfls highest paid kicker this week because the market will be hot.
  • Dallas are allowed to suck against almost anybody else but not against the Giants. I hope we crush them. I hope Dak actually learns how to quarterback this week.

Can’t believe he shanked that 35-yarder. Gotta be the worst feeling ever.

Also, I’m super angry the Packers squeaked our another non-loss (can’t call this one a victory).

  • Cousins outplayed Rodgers by a longshot. Special teams was definitely the difference maker.

then they are idiots. could be a bluff to make no one trade for him

Dude, Rodgers is playing with a knee sprain what do you expect?  And I don't know that I can agree, Cousins almost had like 3 picks - put up some killer stats though.  Those damn Minny recievers are bonkers - and Cook seemed unstoppable.

Truth is, and I'd love to hear any argument, had Matthews not got called on a 100% bogus roughing the passer penalty, the Jaire pick would have sealed the game for the Pack.  Bullshit completely.

The irony is that the rule change responsible for the Matthews call was put in place during the off-season because of when Aaron Rodgers got hurt by being landed on top of. I think the NFL has a general favoritism towards Aaron Rodgers and Brady. They help them both out a lot with penalties. For once it comes back to bite him.
  • Packers played the better game and should've won in regulation imo and that is coming from a Bears fan. Still glad it resulted in a tie though. At least Minnesota was able to make something of that Matthews' roughing the passer. Fucking Bears

  • Dak played better for sure. He still had miscues but he was decisive and made good adjustments. defense was in focus. Offense still isn't quite in sync and needs to improve and click. But this game gave me hope that maybe this season isn't a total wash yet.
  • Okay, chiming in on the Steelers/KC game. I thought the season was over after the first quarter. Good lord Mahomes may just be the real deal. I know it's only been two games and granted the Steelers defense is not the Steelers defense of years past. It's actually pretty rotten.

Take a look at Boswell over in Pittsburgh. God almighty. The guy has been so perfect but since he signed a deal he's been garbage. Missing a game winner last week and he missed one today and also an extra point.

    Browns kicker still worse

  • Pat's are trading for Josh Gordon.
  • Pats are close to getting Josh Gordon. I hope Flash gets 1200+ yards this year.
  • How'd you guys see the story so fast? Espn.com has nothing right now.

I see it on nfl.com though.

reddit.com/r/nfl reddit will pretty much always have the news the fastest.

  • Vikings are signing Dan Bailey
  • Now official. Pat's get Gordon, Browns get a 5th
  • A 5th rd pick is an absolute steal.

How is it possible nobody offered more than that?

Possibly worried they won't get their moneys worth if he can't stay sober.

  • All I need from him is to have a big game when my top receiver goes on bye week for my fantasy team.
  • Also if I'm the browns I reach out to Dez Bryant again and see if I can sweeten the pit a little for him. I believe the original offer was 1 year $5 mil. Make it $6 mil or something.

  • As a Pats fan, I'd be surprised if Gordon makes it to Thanksgiving, but for a conditional 5th it's a no-brainer. And if he works out, he's under contract cheap for a few years.
