Was pulling for the bears. Reason being I want the Seahawks to start 0-3 so that they have more incentive to trade Earl Thomas after they play us next week. Because at 0-3 you aren't likely making the playoffs and might as well get value for Earl Thomas who will leave anyway next off-season.
Needless to say, next week is crucial for Dallas. A must win so that we pull off the Earl Thomas trade for a 2nd round pick.
Its nice watching mack make seattle's O-line look like trash.
I’m loving watching Mack tear it up!
Mack is insane! Very fun to watch when he's not playing the Packers lol. Wonder what kind of numbers he puts up in the weight room...when he gets a little running start seems he can move mountains.

Seriously. That man does things consistently that I feel I’ve barely seen on a football field. Really happy the Bears grabbed him! Especially for those Packers games!
I think this is it, this will be the week the Browns win a football game that counts. I think their secondary will pick off Darnold at least twice. Browns win 20-17 Thursday night.
As a Pats fan, I'd be surprised if Gordon makes it to Thanksgiving, but for a conditional 5th it's a no-brainer. And if he works out, he's under contract cheap for a few years.
I think he would be a resicted fa after this year actually. Not going to be cheap for a few years. Hes cheap now and can be relatively cheap next year depending on offers from other teams
Why do people still think Gordon is elite. Gordon is elite at 27 but Dez is washed up and unemployed at 29?
Sure take a flier on Gordon but I'm not expecting much. Sure he could have a 100 yard game here and there but anyone in a Brady offense can do that. He's more of a WR2 or WR3 now, he's not a #1.
Gordon had over 1600 yards in the one year he wasn't banned for substance abuse (well he was suspended for the first two games). Dez hasn't hit 1400 in a single season. If Gordon stays sober he is a much better player than Dez.
If you aren't expecting much from Gordon it's not because of his skill, it would be because of suspension/injury.
If I knew he would play then the only guys I would want over him are AB, Julio, and OBJ.

Allen Robinson had a 1400 yard season and hasn't even cracked 900 since. Even Terrelle Pryor had 1000 yard in Cleveland and he's total garbage. When you are playing from behind all the time it's pretty easy to chuck it to your playmaker.
5 years ago is an eternity in the NFL. Gordon's best days are in the rear view . Hes not disciplined and a good fit as a WR3 playmaker, but not a double digit target guy like he was in Cleveland.
There is at least footage to show Dez cannot get separation anymore. With Gordon, it's unclear, and he hadn't had the physical toll other 27 year old NFL players have. He was wide open deep a few times week one and Taylor either didn't see him or underthrew him, so I think he probably still has something left. His TD catch was pretty awesome, too.
I still doubt he sticks, though. Sadly, too many issues.
If the Browns don't win this one I can't see a game I would be comfortable giving them the edge in unless Baker Mayfield comes out and immediately impresses. Hopefully they win tonight. I feel bad for everyone involved with that organization.

They had plenty of chances to beat the Steelers. They had were a couple missed kicks away from beating the Saints. Two decent teams, even if they have slow starts. I think the Browns win 4-6 games this year regardless of what happens tonight.
And imagine if Gordon was out there where all those Callaway shots were (and most missed)...honestly they would have smoked em. Gordon is severely underrated, dude can play. Mayfield is fun to watch, the little juke he did on one of his first plays to avoid a sack was some impressive twitch reflexes in my opinion. Then he threw that laser right into the jersey of Landry and he missed the catch...Browns fans have a lot to look forward to.

Dez was never a down the field seperater. He was a physical highpoint ball in the air receiver

Eh. Too much Dak/Romo nonsense to bother scrolling up and reading most of this thread.

For the record, I'm not gay for Romo like Quest is. Just sayin. I'm just skeptical of Dak.

Baker Mayfield has checked in!
About time. Tyrod tayler is awful.
Please don't blow this
