Everyone has said if he plays and is healthy. Sooo what are we talking about here? You are saying even playing he isnt going to do anything. That pretty much implies you dont see what everyone else sees.

It also helps you have Brady under QB.. you know, an actual QB unlike Tannyfail or any of the other what, 7 QBs the Browns have cycled through?
Well, I riled up Jeff for some reason. I'm saying that everyone knows Josh Gordon has a massive ceiling and a massive floor. Possibly the highest and lowest of any player in the league. I'd say everyone would agree on that. I'm placing my bets on the floor right now. You're placing your bets on the ceiling. Not sure why you take so much exception to that.
I was just replying. You were contradicting yourself
you said he only was good once and he cant learn an offense and is a dumb player
then when questioning if you see the same talent you say hes a great talent.
I think we are placing our bets in the middle. You are on the Bust Floor. All I said was over 500 yards. Thats what you proposed. Over 500 approaching 1k so (750-900) is mega tanks guess IF he plays and is healthy. Thats not some crazy amount. Thats like 60-75 yards a game.
People put this 1000 yards at a pedastal and its only 60 yards a game if you play 16.
He is a great talent, who did only have one great season, and is a dumb player, and does have to learn one of the hardest offenses in the NFL. Probably the hardest. And he only has 12 13 games to do it. I would say 500-1000 yards is a big success for him in this case. And I'm calling you riled up because of the "well if you can't see it you're crazy" line.

that line was about his talent which you really didnt recognize with your original posts.
I think 500 yards is right about at what I'd expect for Gordon. The Patriots like to spread the ball around based in matchups. One week Gordon will have 100 yards and a TD. The next he will have 2 catches for 16 yards. That's the Patriots offense. If you want someone consistent, especially in fantasy, edleman will get you 7 catches for 70 yards every week.

Let's just put it this way. In one of the last few years I carried his ass on my roster through his suspension just in case he came back and dominated. He was worth the risk. The same way he's clearly worth the risk to the Patriots. He's just a colossal knucklehead.

x2 for truth.
His 2 catches for 32 seems about right for that system. And screw Gronk, tired of gambling on him in Fantasy. He's officially in my "never draft again" bucket after a few years of him. I know it's not his fault if he's getting doubled and Brady is starting to fall off the map...but he can never stay healthy, like ever.
Feels good for the Packers to shut out an opponent, even if it's the lowly Bills. Hasn't happened for us since 2010, but yes I know a rookie QB made us look better than we are. Still can't fathom how they smoked the Vikings, but I'll take it.
And good god what got into Trubisky yesterday, just wowzers. At noon yesterday I saw that "top of the week" charts and was like yep nobody is getting more fantasy points than Goff this week, then freaking Trubisky went off like noone's business.
Also, how freaking unlucky is Tyler Eifert? That was gruesome as shit, and dude cannot stay healthy either, like ever. Super talented dude.
Same with Earl Thomas, just wow with a trade in the works it appeared with the Chiefs - that one was weird was there actually contact or just a bad angle against the ground? Flipping the bird, while I understand it, shows his shitty character - if I were running a team I would look elsewhere when he becomes healthy. Probably a good chance he retires now though.
Not the NFL but my alma mater (UK) is off to a surprising 5-0 start! With any luck we'll win out our next three games (very doable) and set up a fantastic match against GA on Nov 3 with (gasp!) first place in the SEC East on the line (never thought I'd get to say that about us)! Go Big Blue!

2 for 32 about right fir tge system? You realize hes only been there basically a week and played only 18 out of 81 snaps right. He barely played

Yes, I completely agree with americasteam in that Brady spreads that ball. With Edelman coming back, I really think Gordon's going to have a good week here and there, and then be used to demand coverage otherwise. Sony Michel is killing it, otherwise White is getting several catches too. Plus Brady is on a decline, Gordon has a hamstring issue that can last forever...I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he averages like 3 catches for 40 yards per game by end of season. He is not nearly as good as Moss, and Brady is clearly declining.
The one piece that might impact this is that the Patriot's defense is not very good this year (unfortunately I have them in all my fantasy leagues lol), so they might be throwing a lot in the 2nd half of games.
Brady is always shaky in september. Didnt look declining sunday.
Looking at his stats, I'm surprised that you're right, he's on par with most of them. His yards per pass are down a bit (due to a subpar offense I would think), but I think what's most concerning for me is that he already has 4 interceptions. The Brady I've grown to appreciate does not give up many turnovers. Time will tell, but I still think this is the year that his age begins to show - doesn't help he has a subpar set of receivers and a TE that can never stay healthy though.

While I don't think the Patriots are world beaters, I think they are the clear favorites to return to the super bowl in the AFC. Nobody looks like a legitimate threat to them in the AFC except (really?) the Ravens. The Ravens have always played the Patriots tough and this year the Ravens look like they have a legit defense to contend with the Patriots in the playoffs. Other than them, the whole AFC looks like trash again. The Patriots always start slow in September but they find a way to return to the super bowl. Trash division, and trash conference helps. The NFC is where real football is played.

Have you not seen any of the Kansas City games this year? Their offense is legit, the question mark will be if the defense can sustain them through the playoffs. I'd be surprised if the offense averages less than 30 points a game this year.
We'll see how KC plays tonight, if Mahomes can light it up again then it's hard not to disagree with that one bit.
At this point, I do see KC vs (NE or BAL) in the AFC Championship game.
For the NFC, woah that's a tough one - LAR vs ???. Gonna hurt me to say this as a Packers fan but the Bears are looking pretty scary, they could easily be 4-0 right now.

I don't believe in the Chiefs in the playoffs as a general rule, and this year is no different. Their defense is so bad. In the playoffs you can't make the super bowl on offense alone.

I'm a Pats fan and I think they are the third or fourth best team in the AFC. Their schedule is also brutal, and with this 2-2 start, I don't expect them to get a bye. My guess is a Divisional Round exit, ending their 7-year Championship Game streak.
That said, I don't think that's the end of the window, unless Gronk retires. Brady is still Brady, I think. It's always taken about a month for him to jell with a new receiving core, and now he's getting Edelman back and has Gordon. The Pats have had insanely bad injury luck with their last 3 drafts. If some can get healthy and they have a good draft/FA period, they'll be back next year.
I still think the Jags are the most complete team in the AFC. Chiefs will be knocked out in the first round they play if that defense doesn't get figured out because that offense won't be that good in the playoffs.
Throwin the ball with his left hand while being tackled, makin Trevor look baaaad.
62% completion still ain't too pretty. He has definitely not looked as sharp this game, but his prior production couldn't be sustained by anybody. He looked good in this 4th though.
