GB CIB

Hey guys!

I hope that everyone is having a nice weekend so far. I was cleaning some stuff out my parents' basement and came across an assortment of my old Game Boy games, many complete-in-box, and was hoping that the aficionados on this forum might be able to give me an accurate estimate as to what some of these are worth. I've saved images of all the boxes and relevant manuals in an album under my username (hopefully, I did it right).

Mega Man II/Mega Man V/Link's Awakening/Wario Land are all complete in box, with games, manuals, and inserts.

Pokemon Red/Pokemon Blue are box-only, without manuals or games.

I also stumbled across an old copy of Zen: Intergalactic Ninja, complete with box and game but no manual, but didn't have time to take any photos.

Any information would be greatly appreciated! And since I'm new to this forum, please let me know if I've committed a faux pas.

Thanks!

  • I would love to own that Mega Man V but it is very much out of my price range.

For the CIB stuff you can check it out on http://gamevaluenow.com/ and/or https://www.pricecharting.com/

For the box only items, Price Charting has box only prices and I'd agree that they're worth about $20-$30 each, especially in that great of condition.
  • Welcome

    Are you thinking about selling

    Where are you located
  • You are very lucky to find Megaman V as that can go for around $1000 dependent on condition, I would love it but I have a strict price limit for my pockets!
  • Thanks guys, those are great resources--I appreciate the info. I knew Mega Man V was relatively rare but am stunned by those prices.

I would be interested in selling, so feel free to PM me.
  • Thats a hell of a basement find for sure, but just gonna throw this out there someone said $1000 above for Mega Man V but to reiterate that's for a top end copy, I looked at the pics in your gallery and your MMV is decidedly not a top end copy, in fact it's actually quite rough on one spine even just at first glance (and of course pretty much all the value of a GB CIB is in the box. the manual looks kinda messed up too but that matters less). I'm not calling it worthless and saying no one will want it or anything, its still highly desirable and you'll probably find a buyer within a couple days, but just kinda saying not to get your hopes up too high expecting 4 figures cause if the offers start rolling in you don't want to turn down a seemingly low offer that's actually fair. (in my garbage opinion this ones more like $700 which is still amazing considering the circumstances.) oh and also your Zen is worth about $150 give or take. GL with the sales
