Could I post video game ad scans from comics?

So, I found a big box of comics, one is from 1973 (It's a Harvey), another from 1988, and most are from 1991-1996.  I found a lot of ads in the comics, and some of them were video games (I never read comics, okay?). 



So, I wanted to scan the ads, just like Playstation Collecting has done.



They are interesting ads, too.

    That would be really neat. At the very least I'd say to scan them and upload them here in your personal user gallery. Then if NA ever has some type of media cataloging, I'm sure it'd come in handy.

    There's even an ad for TMNT Tournament Fighters... But yeah, there's a lot of ads. I've seen a lot of one Mortal Kombat ad, though.

    i'll never forget the Metal Gear ad on the back of one of my Transformers or G.I. Joe comics back in the 80s. i HAD to have this game, and i didn't even have a system. got the game for my birthday in October, didn't get the NES until Christmas.

    Alright, I'll start scanning them.



    I'll begin with a Taito ad that, just like the Bubble Bobble box, mistakes the bubble dragons as brontosauruses.

    it would be great if you had a flickr.com account and could upload the scans and share the link with everyone, for large files and once you reach 250images its a paid service though.

    Don't see the harm of scanning just the ads, plus it's interesting to see a lot of em. I would scan some, but I gave almost my whole comic collection to my cousin.

    I got around 1000 comics already scanned in. I can toss in my video game ads if you want em. I counted like 10 in the 3 of them I checked.

    Fuck yeah, these are the bomb.

    At my old cubicle job, I had tons of these scans printed out and hung all over. People loved em.



    These were some of the best parts of reading Archie comics on the can, back in the day.

    I also loved the ones for sellers' clubs, where you could redeem points or whatever for cool shit like telescopes, radios, skateboards, walkie talkies and other junk.

    Was going through some of my old comic books doom the 90s. Was prepping these for sale as haven't looked at these in years and noticed they have some great video game advertisements on the back covers.
