Has anyone been able to return the Pokemon Let's Go game and keep the steelbook?
I got them to give me one for a previous purchase.
Really? Hmm my Best Buy said they are not able to stating previous purchases would not get one.
I walked in and just told him that I read online that Elite members could do it. He was totally cool and looked up my previous purchase and called the manager over for an override. The manager didn't even put up a fight. He just typed in his code and walked off. Then, the guy did something and needed another override. 10 minutes later, the manager walks back, types in his code AGAIN and it rings up a $20 refund. By now, homeboy is totally frazzled and says to me, and I quote "fuck it. I'm going to give you the case and this refund because you've been here so long. Please come back and spend it here." He then shakes my hand and hands me the steelbook. Lol! It was comical. I told him don't worry, I didnt get Elite Plus by NOT shopping here. And I walked out with $20 on my card and a free Pokemon Steelbook.

I've seen BB workers (shift managers etc) on social media talking about how poorly and inconsistently trained floor-level BB employees are. He said the employees are not supposed to give away the steelbooks for anything other than a new purchase or to be sold separately for $40....but that you could probably walk into half the BBs out there and just say "I called and they said they'd give me one", and they probably will just to avoid the confusing situation. Many others were attesting to this, with their varied and differing stories of how they were able to snag a steelbook without buying an extra copy or forking out the $40.

Been having a great time getting back into Dead Cells! I think i got to the last boss last night but not positive. Hollow Knight is great too, just sorta got stuck on a part and took a break.

The materials and ergonomics feel perfect and very "OEM", it really makes the Switch feel like one solid piece. No loose areas, no joycon creaking, no bulky profile. The handles feel exactly like pro controller handles. If you're looking for a grip for your Switch it's hard for me not to be a total shill for this one, you should consider getting one. Customizable grip colors too, wife got one with neon red handles and they match the joycons perfectly. Bigtime thumbs-up from me.

As you can see by the Switch screen on my last post (lol), I'm really getting into Dead Cells too. Such a great game, and very much a "side-view Wayward Souls". You know that gets the blood flowing down south.
