SOLD: NES The Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak (USA/CAN)

Hi!

I'm a long time collector/retrogamer from Finland. I stumbled to a NES lot on a local craigslist and this rare game was part of it. They imported some USA versions of games on mid 90's (bet they got them cheap) and offered to mod peoples consoles. Most of the NES consoles I have bought second hand here have been region free modded. There aren't that much collectors on NTSC-U versions of rare games here in Finland so I tought I offer this overseas. I first tried to make an Ebay sell on this, but they have some ridiculous selling limitations because I haven't sold anything on Ebay before (even thou I have bough tons of stuff) so can't sell anything over 650$ there. So figured that this could be a good platform for that!

Game itself is in great condition. I have cleaned the contacts and it works just fine. Manual has a bit of wear on one corner, but nothing drastic. I would say it's in good condition overall. See the photos to make your own opinion! I also opened the game to make sure that it's authentic.

Price: 1000$ / reasonable offer.

Payment with paypal. Price includes tracked shipping and I will have the game in snugfit and properly packaged.

Ask if there are any questions or you guys want more pictures etc.

  • I really wish I hadn't just bought this game, your copy is in better condition than the one I bought and the price is reasonable. GLWS
  • Pretty good deal here considering the cart/label look to be in VG/NM condition, and a good condition manual is included. GLWS!
  • Near mint? The label is misaligned and peeling on one side.
  • 850$ offered so far. Will wait a day or two if someone comes higher or with the full 1000$

Does misalignment count as a condition issue if that's how the manufacturer set the label?

Also, just to be clear, the cartridge is in excellent condition.  I'm just replying to this comment out of curiosity.

Yes. Sports cards get graded based on how centered their cut is, even though they're all cut by the manufacturer. I'd pay more for a game with a better aligned label.
  • Interested in selling the manual separately, or only as a set?

No, it doesn't. Sports cards and game cartridges are 2 entirely different things. It's fairly common for older cart games to have imperfectly aligned labels, which were factory set (as coffee mentioned).

And I'm not seeing where the label is peeling.

  • I rather sell as a set and not separate manual and cartridge. I now have multiple 900$ offers and I will close this deal tomorrow. So one more day time to raise the bets. And if no one is willing to go for 1000$ I will sell it to the first one, who offered the highest bid. Also if there are multiple 1000$ offers, first one gets it. Thank you for the offers so far!
  • Some one offered 1000$. I will close this thread once the transaction is done. Thanks you all for the interest!
