It looks like I'm getting transferred, and will be forced to move to a new area. Ultimately it'll get me out of a rural town and into a seemingly nicer area. I think I will try and hunt down a nice Argentinian Malbec wine once I complete my move. If not from a local wine shop, then I'll have to just order it from Rakuten.
Aldi Winking Owl , all that is needed for a nice evening, and only $2.89.
Ha!
My wife tried picking up the boxed-red from Lidl (I'm assuming they source similar wine to Aldi), and it was definitely a chore to drink it compared to the reds from Black Box or Bota Box.
I'm going to assume their version of 2-buck-chuck is the same stuff.
(funny aside, actual 2-buck-Chuck is quite literally Franzia in a glass bottle)
No clue on that. I like the reds, and the wife likes the moscato. Never a chore to drink.
Moscato is pretty hard to screw up, IMO.
I'll as my wife to try the reds you're talking about next time she hits Aldi.
I've just had bad experiences with the boxed stuff at Lidl (aside from the price point, we tend toward boxes so we don't have to finish a whole bottle at once)
