I got this today for $30 I looked on the console variants website it said it was a PAL Exclusive but this is 100% US release.

    What does "Zero Resistance" mean? Which genius in the marketing department decided nobody would buy this thing unless the "resistance" levels were below the specified tolerance?

    Definitely a US release. I've had a few of that control deck variant. Off the top of my head I can think of the one with SMB, the one with the Nintendo power players guide, one that doesn't have any game and then the later released version with the red stripe.
