It sounds like a very good idea. There’s a good handful of games that they could feasibly sell out 3000 copies of.. they’d be mostly NA sales only, not international due to region locking.
And they have the connections with Nintendo to make it happen..

This has sadly been confirmed as a hoax, so that sucks all the balls.
Not my type of game, but the LE was nice looking, although expensive. Which goes to show people are willing to pay a premium for well designed collector's editions.

Yes they stopped with all forms of rewards. The tickets had to be ised by the end of March I think if you had enough for anything
Don't know if your aware but they issued an e-mail today..or might had been yesterday they are holding off release until the DLC comes out, I don't know if that means its still in production or they will add it in as a code. (I would prefer to have it all on one cart myself)
Also at least your not still waiting on Psyvariar Delta from Dispatch, fucking thing as gone AWOL for several months (9 since I pre-ordered)
They wait until the entire game is released so they can include everything on cart/disc so you get the complete version of the game. They did the same thing with Pixeljunk Monsters 2 which I bought nearly a year ago and only just received in the past couple months, and Skullgirls which was a 1.5 year wait. Yeah it sucks to wait and I'd like to be able to play Celeste now but I'm glad they actually care enough to get the complete game on cart. Personally I think this is the best way to handle it. If you want to play the game in the future and the servers are down, you otherwise wouldn't be able to get the DLC without hacking your console. Same thing with patches. We've already seen this with the Wii Shop which closed for good this year. It's honestly refreshing since most games shipping now are incomplete and require day one patches.

The Special Reserve copy comes with some sort of collector's sleeve I believe, so I'd go with that one.

The dlc is free. Just send the damn game LRG
