As far as the OP goes, I'll get it updated after I finish up my next batch of SNES reviews (soonish), and I'll start working on getting the Vita thumbnails
I know it's annoying having paid up front, but I like the idea of having a quality/complete product that potentially requires less patches because the bugs are worked out.
Now if the game is released and the dlc is weak tea or buggy I'd get angry.
I bought it because it was physicsl. This is just extra.
Id have bought it a long time ago if i supported digital
It sounds nice to do this, but man it gets to a point ehere the wait kinda gets ridiculous. Dlc has been delayed twice.
If you don't care about the DLC being part of the physical disc, than just get the digital version. It makes no sense to say you want the physical version, but than also say you want most of or any part of the game left off the disc just to get it sooner.
I like the idea of having the whole thing too, but what im seeing is this is just some bonus levels. The game is already a complete game. Id be cool with it if they would give an actual date. From the looks of it the DLC was supposed to come in january, then LRG said march release, then in april dlc still not ready and pushed back.
Having already paid its extremely annoying to be held in limbo. They shouldn't take payments if they dont know when they will even be able to deliver. So now we just have to wait for dlc then another wait for production then get it what late summer?
Im going to wait for it, I knew it wasnt coming right away when I preordered but seeing it delayed again is annoying.
Look on the bright side. It could be worse. I just received an email today about a game I ordered in May 2015 that finally has a release date in June 2019.

A kickstarter game I see...
well, at least it's come to fruition. So many kickstarters have ended in failure.
This may have already been covered, but did LRG stop giving out those little ticket things you can redeem for prizes? I haven't received any with my last two orders.
Yes they stopped with all forms of rewards. The tickets had to be ised by the end of March I think if you had enough for anything
That sucks so hard!! I've got a huge stack of them I was saving up. There was a problem with my email for months that finally got resolved in the last couple weeks so if they sent out a message stating that I totally missed it.

TICKETS ARE STILL GOOD.
Not sure why this keeps getting shared. Limited Run Games has stated several times that the tickets will never expire. They stopped issuing the tickets back around November 2018, but you can redeem them whenever you like. The points system that replaced the tickets only lasted a few months, and you had until the end of March to redeem those points. That was also heavily advertised by LRG.
Edit: If you plan to redeem your tickets, make sure you have received all games that were released before the cut off. If you ordered a game before the ticket cut off date, you will still receive a ticket when that game arrives. Since they won't issue tickets anymore, you might as well make sure you have as many as possible before redeeming them.

Good to know, I just mailed mine out yesterday in hopes that they might still accept them. I had 42 tickets so I'll be able to get a free PS4/Vita game. Honestly I didn't even see the messages about them getting rid of the digital reward system and I follow them on twitter, get the emails, and follow this thread... but I didn't have enough of the digital points for anything worthwhile anyway.
And noiseredux, that's unfortunately been an issue with a lot of Switch games, especially ones from LRG. Try again in a few weeks and it will probably (hopefully) be fixed by then.

Yeah I think they stopped a while back one short of me getting anything interesting... Doh

That's my bad, I did have the email and coudl've sworn it meant all rewards but reading it again you are correct. Not my intention to give out bad information.
asking them to combine orders not at the same time sounds reasonable to me. Just imagine thousands of orders in one day and having to combine random ones.
Limited Run said they will no longer combine the shipping on orders from the same day because the packing time? Nonsense.
Where did they say this? And what does that mean exactly? Does that mean if I order 3 games on the same transaction I'll be charged shipping for each? Or that they wont combine seperate transactions?

I took it to mean, if you order in the morning and then the afternoon, you have to pay shipping twice.
I don't think its reasonable because games sell out so fast sometimes you don't have enough time to put the order in for all the games you want at the same time. So you order one in the a.m. and one in the p.m.

What if I did two separate transactions at the same time in the afternoon. Would they then honor combining them both?
The're a niche business and created a new model, but I'm starting to think they reach too far. Can you think of another retail business that 1. Takes your money up front, 2. Changes deadlines regularly, 3. Refuses most cancellations, and now 4. Can't combine shipping.
What happens when you pay for shipping and they end up sending the games together? Do they pocket the extra shipping you pay?
So i just remembered my celeste preorder went accidently to my parents address. This wouldnt be a big deal but a couple weeks ago they are now moving and selling that house. So probsbly within the next couple of months they wont be there anymore.
I looked up what to do requesting an address change. I filled out the google form on the order to change it. They send you an email to trll you what to do. I try logging in to limited run. Apparently i dont have an account because i typed in the email i get limited run emails from and it says no account with that email. So did i check out as a guest? Now what do i do? This stupid dlc delay now has screwed everything up.

Look up the receipt in your email to get the order #, then put in a claim using the order # and write a note about the address.
As others have said. Contact them. Contact, contact, contact. Email, call, whatever you need to do. Let them know every time you are not trying to cancel the order but rather need to change the shipping address. The billing address shouldn't change since you made the purchase at your current residence which is the CC linked to the billing address. It'll work out I'm sure. Let us know if it doesn't.
Fearing for my Bloodstained deluxe reading things like this. Worst case you get your money back as much as it would suck to lose out on something you already ordered
