So i just remembered my celeste preorder went accidently to my parents address. This wouldnt be a big deal but a couple weeks ago they are now moving and selling that house. So probsbly within the next couple of months they wont be there anymore.
I looked up what to do requesting an address change. I filled out the google form on the order to change it. They send you an email to trll you what to do. I try logging in to limited run. Apparently i dont have an account because i typed in the email i get limited run emails from and it says no account with that email. So did i check out as a guest? Now what do i do? This stupid dlc delay now has screwed everything up.
Look up the receipt in your email to get the order #, then put in a claim using the order # and write a note about the address.
That was already done. There was no note area. They tell you to log in and change your default. Apparently i dont gave an account.

Weird. I accidently paid with 2 different paypal accounts that were linked to different e-mails. One checked out as a guest without any LRG login and the receipt was sent to the e-mail I had attached to the paypal. So I went to my e-mail account and used the process i stated before.
The Subject on the e-mail from LRG says " Order # xxxxxx Confirmed"
It looks like an automatic e-mail.
If you can't find it you might be able to find the payment tramsaction on your card and try and have LRG locate the order that way.
Just curious how people feel when LRG sells games that already have a physical. Play Asia has had this one out so long they're starting to discount it.

I would like the extras that are included in this release but not worth double dipping at $130 IMHO

I might be missing something, but it looks the same as the Play Asia Collectors Edition. The cheapest new one on e-bay is at $80 right now if you like it.

Not sure why anyone would feel one way or the other. If you can get the game cheaper elsewhere, I would just buy it there. I didn't buy their two separate copies of Steamworld last year because I could get both games on one disc cheaper from Amazon.
I just want to say the first post is looking swell! I like that you're adding pics! Maybe we should set up some repository where we can see the pics for past Collector's Editions etc?
King of Fighters 97 arrived. Has a really offset insert. Interesting manufacturing defect. Trying to figure out how to add pictures with new phone with android
So any reason why the PS4 games prices went up? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought they were less then $40...
I was totally going to get Battle Garegga Collector's Edition but that price...nope. I don't need the LPs. I was honestly just interested in the CD and the reproduction posters.
Just a quick heads up/shameless plug in case anyone has one - I'm looking to buy a copy of the Furi CE. Doesn't have to be sealed, as I'd open it anyway.

Prices have always ranged from $25 to around $40. Some have been more. For whatever reason, shooters tend to run AT LEAST $40, so today's game wasn't a surprise.

I didn't realize the first post was getting updated. That looks awesome.

I don't think this will be the regular cost of future games. Battle Garegga was originally released for slightly more. They publsher is probably trying not to dilute the price, they may also have some contract clause with Play Asia since that is the main distributor.
I ended up buying Battle Garegga because I have no self control. I'd probably do the same for Ikaruga or RSG. I'm definitely in the crew that leans towards it being a masterpiece. I guess the arcade PCB is the "definitive" physical version, but this looks like the definitive, convenient verison. I was pretty bummed when the Japanese CE had a DLC code and no copy of the game.

I want Ikaruga and blazing chrome physical for the switch so bad...

Windjammers and Celeste!! LRG is really padding my Switch collection.
I picked up both of these but havent gotten celeste yet due to DLC or something. Windjammers I was very skeptical about but since it was a switch game I picked it up and damn if that isnt a fun game!!
I've recently started trying to collect all of the Collector's Editions they've released for the Switch. They're pretty expensive, but at only 30 or so releases thus far, it seems like an obtainable goal. I have kept the few I have sealed, but I'm curious what y'alls opinions were. Should I keep em all sealed, or open em up and enjoy the LPs and all the other goodness that's inside em?
$50 for A Train seems like a bit of a stretch to me but I guess there must be some fans out there. I don't really care for the way they market it in the e-mail trying to suggest the game will sell for much more if you buy.

Resellers are their target market. Change my mind.

They usually make up less than 10% of sales, so I kind of doubt it.

How are you quantifying that exactly?
Based on the number of games that end up on eBay (which is not that many). Am I going to take the time to do the actual math? No. I'm simply pointing out that it's an extremely common misconception that mostly resellers are buying these games.
If you don't believe me, join some of the LRG collecting groups on Facebook. The number of collectors and full set collectors is ridiculously huge. I fear that some of these guys are truly nuts. They make Nintendo collectors appear normal. Some of the things I've seen there have turned me off from collecting a little bit.

Eh I believe you I'm just being facetious.
That said, I consider "long con reselling" to be a thing. There's no doubt in my mind that a good chunk of people consider LRG games to be an investment that they can liquidate in the future for a boost.

I think you are half right. I think that many of these collectors are telling themselves that they are buying for long term investing as a justification for the amount of money they are putting down. But I've seen this behavior enough to know that most of them have absolutely no intention of ever letting any of this stuff go.

Thats not an LRG choice. Train games are friggin expensive man.
