  • I'd say $400-$500, but could go for more as well.
  • Dov's went for 1000, but that was extreme. Around 5-650 is about the going rate.
  • Thanks guys, I kind a figured it was in the 500 dollar range.

GO habs GO! I predict a 3-1 victory tonight!
  • Depends on condition. In average condition, $500-$600 is correct. In mint condition, $1000+ (I paid more than that for my mint copy).
  • I believe I'd seen one a while back (2 months or so, perhaps) go for $300 or so... While it was in nice shape, I don't recall it being perfectly mint :/ ...
  • Ya there, seems to be quite a large range of prices.

    Thanks for the replies
  • Ok, well most recently I purchased a copy for $1050 on ebay, so there's your most recent piece of data image
  • ^^ The French/English version is not nearly as sought after as the original US only release - which, in true mint condition I have not seen for less than $800 in quite some time

  • i wonder why this game is so expensive? It's not like there aren't 2 millin copies that were sold. There has to be people with a case of them.
  • I always wondered that too - I have seen a lot of the million seller copies sealed, but hardly ever the original - there just don't seem to be a lot of them left - I even went through my garage hoping I still had one sealed in my old SNES system boxes - no luck image - I actually think it came loose in the system cause I did find a mint instruction booklet -maybe that's why it's a tough find - cause many of them were originally loose that came with the system?
  • ^ well its the box that is rare not the cart. You have to remember that most SMW carts were packaged in with the SNES. Not many people had a reason to buy the game because they were already getting it free. So there are not to many out there compared to if every SMW had a box...and its pretty tough to find a decent condition one
  • oh i forgot about it being a pack-in.
  • Plus if I remember right, they were already selling the "Million Seller" edition when the DK Country bundle came out (which would probably be the first good reason for somebody to buy a boxed SMW).
  • Hmm, ya that one for 350 is in pretty banged up shape, at least for my likings.
  • ^ It is CAN though image and he has the offer option. Pretty beat though.
  • Didn't see CAN, good catch lol. Still I'd pass, I'm sure if someone wanted it they could get it for less then 300 CAN.
  • Canadian version isn't worth even half that...no demand for Canadian games (sorry CAN guys on here image)

I meant CAN version, not CAD. Being from Canada, that might interest you. rarebucky's right though, there is less demand. Americans don't want them, and Canadian don't care which it is, other than say, me, and people from Quebec.
