How many of you are guilty of throwing this insert away?

The infamous Tecmo mailing address sticker. This was included with Tecmo games that had the Special Bonus Offer insert inside where you could win a Tecmo branded digital watch (watches, remember those?) and show off to all of the kids on the playground. There is nothing on there that makes it obvious it's from a video game and I'm sure people have mistakenly thrown them out thinking they were just some generic mailing address sticker. Including yourself perhaps?

I thought it was a generic nobrand label for a letter. Then I found out it's a legit insert.

It's still a nobrand label for a letter with no real importance...but it still somehow stings at the same time.

Exactly my point. They look generic AF as if they don't belong. I was almost going to throw one away one time until I read the special offer insert. It says that you need to include the mail order seal along with the Tecmo ID tags so they can send stuff back to you. Yikes. Probably explains why these are very hard to find now.

Very interesting, as I never knew about this. I bought a Ninja Gaiden 2 box about 8 or 9 years ago that had one of those in it and figured it was just some generic address sticker. I never threw it away and it has sat on my computer desk since I bought the box. Glad I never tossed it.

I don't recall seeing those which considering back then it was few and far between getting "new" or even used CIBs games as I was a rental kid and when I started collecting it was mostly carts anyway. Still neat though.
