Is anyone going to be watching the Deadwood movie tonight? One of the greatest tv shows ever made finally gets an ending after 13 years. Does anyone think the amazing writer David Milch will be able to pull it off despite every one being old af or is this going to be closer to a game of thrones ending?

    Not sure what you are reading. There was one episode where Swearingin couldn't get it up, but I think that was a metaphor for something. He was okay by the end of the episode when he took advice from a friend, that told him to have a prostitute give him a blow job from a different angle.

    I enjoyed the series (and setting), but the amount they used "cocksucker" was off-putting.

    I think that was a common complaint. Here is an article from the New Yorker. Apparently the main writer David Milch said they would have spoken. It's hard to say whether he toed the line, but he seemed convincing when I listened to his reasoning on the dvd extras a while back.
