    I just started playing the genny version and I think Sign Collector might be right. The game seems harder, I think there's more variety in the enemies, the sword is a solid weapon, and some of the enemys are detailed and funny.



    To me it's one of those Dracula X type deals.  People rip on it because it's inferior to the Genesis version, but it's still a good game that's worth playing.

     





    I would say they are even further apart than the Dracula X games. These are literally two completly dif. games that are using the same source material.

    When I said the Genesis version was better I meant that if you put a gun to my head and made me give you my honest opinion I'd say the Genesis version is better. That being said, the SNES game is great, easily one of the best platformers on the console. And although the main game is a bit easier, good luck trying to collect all the diamonds to 100% it. There's no reason to rip on the SNES version.
