Definitely a bad no call. After the Sharks series it's nice to see some of that luck go our way.
1 more win! Go Blues!
You mean the single blown call that lead to your team being so fired up they didn't lose again until the next series? Yeah, what a travesty.
The hand pass?
That one was a lil fucky but that tripping non-call last night was honestly pretty brutal in comparison.
Just hate to see shitty non-reviewable calls like that in the playoffs in general though.
We'll see what the league says about it. The hand pass being permitted was far worse. It ended the game.
In the instance of this flukey missed "trip" (which was greatly embellished, btw), there were still 9+ min left in the game and the Bruins still had a chance to change the outcome.

Is it Sunday yet?
How about we run as fast as we can towards each other, with you not looking at me, and I'll leg whip you and see how gracefully you tumble?
And nobody deserves an Oscar as much as Binnington. You breathe on him and he falls over.

When it's an OT game in the playoffs..... Yeah they may wanna look into having that shit reviewed before everyone starts celebrating, it's just such a weird territory to get into.
It's already pretty bad in the NHL with plays being reviewed constantly and coaches being able to contest as well.

Pretty poopy job for the refs.
Been a bad post season all around as far as officiating goes. The games have mostly been fun to watch though.

It'll be interesting to see what all they change this off-season. Some of the judgment calls you can't do anything about (last night's trip) but stuff like the hand pass and the puck in the netting for Columbus they need to figure out somehow. Maybe find a way to review assists to see if they're legit? Could open a new can of worms if you're looking for a high stick from 2 passes ago.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall during those conversations. I know they worry about slowing the game down and all that, but as a fan I really don't mind stoppages for review. They only occur duing pivitol moments during the game, and it's a tense/anxious bit of fun waiting for the official ruling. And at the end of the day, we all just want the correct/fair call to be made.
No way was that trip embellished, he landed awkward as fuck. He might have pretended he was more hurt than he actually was, but its a tripping call 99% of the time.
Now, im not a believer in bitching about reffing costing a team a game or series, the best part of a 7 game series is it filters out who the better team is. Aside from a blowout game, its been quite competitive with both goalies playing awesome.
Rask came up pretty large last night, was the difference maker for sure...Blues had all the opportunity in the world to score and couldn't make it happen...Few very close ones though.
Rask has been amazing. He should win MVP either way, but O Reilly has been great for St Louis, as well. He prob gets if Blues pull it out.
In regular season, two more Blues probably get suspensions based on conduct from last night. For game 7, they'll let both go. And Sutherland and crew have game 7, so it'll be anything goes.
Frustrating to watch. Stupid penalties to start off the night, and nothing much to get excited about the rest of the way.
Yeah overall it was a pretty boring game, I wasn't even paying much attention to it after the 1st.
I wanna see an OT game 7 nailbiter, would rather see the Blues take it though...Would be an awesome story to have them come back from doing so shit the first half of the regular season, JB being in his rookie year and after having such a long drought.

Agreed, I think my favorite goal was Pietrangelo's because it was Marchand who absolutely shit the bed and couldn't gut out another 8 sec of ice time.
But the assist of the night goes to Tarasenko, that was a b-e-a-uty.
