NES Cheetahmen II sticker orientation
Hello. I just purchased a copy of Cheetahmen II and have a question about the gold “Cheetamen II” sticker used on the cartridge. Were these stickers applied to the cartridges inconsistently? Most copies I have seen have the “Cheetamen” oriented towards the pins, while my copy seems to be flipped, with the “II” closer to the pins. Sorry is this is confusing, I’m not sure how else to phrase this. Please refer to the pictures. Are one of these cart’s more common than the others? I’m assuming there isn’t any difference in value between the two? Also note, I pulled both of these pictures off a google search, neither one is my cart. Thanks!

They were found with no stickers and assembled. Most dont even have stickers so yes they easily could have just been applied inconsistently. There werent enough stickers so it was a crapshoot when you bought one if it had a sticker. Stickered ones are more desireable. While without a sticker it looks like an action 52. The board is different but most wouldnt know just by looking at it at a glance.
Interesting, I didn’t know that! So you’re saying that they were all found complete in box, and then a third party manufactured the stickers, applied them, and sealed the boxes? Or were the stickers already made and then just applied later before sealing? Are all copies of Cheetahmen II on these green board, or do copies exist on the rarer black boards?
I always thought that the misspelling of “Cheetamen” was very on brand for Active Enterprises. Thanks for the info!
and i believe all cheetamen II boards are the same. Action 52 is the game that had like 3 different variants.
