is this fake or not?
hey everyone i have started buying all of the major zelda releases as well as games i had growing up and one i got recently was majora's mask with the holo front, however i didnt notice until later some issues, i havent gotten the game yet so i cant get a good look and i know these photos are not great but was hoping maybe yall could look and tell me what you think.

What makes you think it's fake? The shell condition makes me think real, especially with those brittle spots near the bottom tabs.
that and the missing screw is what is bothering me, i will be able to tell for sure tomorrow if it gets delivered on time but thank you both for replying and releaving some of my stress!
As others have said, it looks legit to me. For what it's worth, N64 has the least amount of fakes out there for cart based systems prior to the 3DS. It's not like NES, SNES, GBA, or DS where you have tons of bootlegs running around
You may want to check again. Thanks to AliExpress, I'm guessing there's more N64 fakes than NES/SNES now.
i know this is a little off topic but was wondering why on ebay atleast, there are more repros of the game banjo tooie than real copies and why are the real copies priced so high? i am seeing them for like $35+ usd
Kinda answered your own question there. Simply, it's a little bit of supply and demand. The reproductions are common and easier to come by, thus are cheaper. People also tend to pay more for something that authentic, and add on the fact that it's also a popular game (Especially now that Banjo and Kazooie are going to be in Smash soon), the price isn't gonna be pretty cheap.

Looks like that has changed since I last checked. I still see a lot more of the other fakes than I do N64 fakes. I've seen fake GBA and DS games at GameStops and game stores, also fake GBA SP systems. And then I've seen fan hacks of NES and SNES games at game stores, but never either of those in person for N64 games.

Oh wow that’s tough, def oot and mm are my top two as those got me into the series, wind water would be number 3, I know some didn’t like it but skyward sword would be my number 4 and twilight would be 5 but it would be higher than skyward sword

Very nice! I'm really hoping they port skyward sword over to the switch and allow normal controls. I didn't play that one after most people deemed it unplayable. My five in no order are probably OOT, link to the past, wind waker, botw, and then either links Awakening or link between worlds.
