How do you display Famicom Disk System Games?

With those of you with a Famicom Disk System collection, how do you store them on your shelf? I don't have a really good solution for this at the time.

Any input would be great.

  • Loose or boxed?
  • Boxed, or as much of a box fds provides
  • Right-side up, in a row, alphabetically, and then sorted by gender identity and level of privilege.
  • Do you have a copy of All Night Nippon SMB?

  • I store all my floppies in floppy boxes.
  • I have mine stacked sideways on a shelf near my Famicom carts. Good enough for the 5-6 FDS games I have.
  • For standard FDS games I store mine on shelf with the grey side of the soft outer case showing and I use a label maker to print the title in English stuck to this side. I then put them in a nes manual bag for dust protection.

For disk-writer only games I keep them in the plastic disk writer kiosk storage case of which I have two.

For disk writer only games I create cover art in photoshop so they all have a hard case to fit into. For standard games I wont buy them unless they have the soft outer case and manual (also the code on the UPC must be correct for the game).
