Wow, 2004! I figured the manufacture of those hulks died out in the 80s. At the very least, I never saw one IRL past our old, old Magnavox (IIRC it was that brand) which was the family game TV until maybe 2000 or so. Everyone else I knew had the black plastic shelled TVs, or in later days the silver color instead. Very interesting, thanks for the insight.
It's cute, but at what point are you trying just a little too hard to relive your childhood? If you're going to do it, do it right: get a mixing bowl and fill it with sugary cereal and milk, then fap to a vhs tape of The Cindy Crawford workout.

I will do me! So fuck off! :-)
On the note of the cereal bowl, I did eat some monstrous bowls of cereal growing up. I will try that this weekend when I step into my childhood time machine I built in my basement.

To go for full effect, start on a Friday night down there, cell phone shut off and isolated to the world.
Don't shower till Sunday, nor brush your teeth or comb your hair, and use deodorant as needed to get through it.
Stock up on pop and snacks - we can all live vicariously through you.
Let folks come a knocking if they need ya.
If you could do this for a whole weekend theoretically, what games and/or vhs tapes would you jam to?

I like the idea. Comfy retro feel surrounded by high quality items.
I'm amazed that console TVs and S Video ever coexisted. Where did you ever find a tv like that?
