Resident Evil is a hard pass for me. 5 and 6 digital is BS, and honestly they're not even good games - it stopped at 4 and came back at 7. And I've played 4 enough times to do so practically blindfolded already so really no need to do it YET AGAIN.
5 is ok. I had fun playing that coop back in the xbox 360 days. 6 I never finished, by far the worst of these 3. Ive probably played through 4 on the wii atleast 5 times.
I enjoyed 5, maybe not more than 4, but certainly more than 6. I also feel like 5 gets a bad reputation because there wasn't as much "horror" compared to 4, but my main complaint with 4 was baby sitting Sheri and 5 fixed that with co-op and an AI parented that was servicable. Shiva had a whole bunch of problems but the game with two humans was easy, at least the AI made it somewhat more of a challenge.
It's hard for me to go back and play 4 with those controls, now that we've been spoiled with dual-stick movement/aiming/looking as a standard. I know you can use the waggle controls on the Wii, but I just want the walking/aiming controls to feel like other 3rd-person action games, and there's no option for that. Really sucks, because its such an awesome game. I also loved RE5, even though it wasn't so much a horror title. It was still a ton of fun.
I like the RE4 control scheme way better than modern 2 stick games actually. If you could run and shoot at the same timet their would be zero challenge or fear/anxiousness . Going back to it is seemless for me because the wii version feels so natural. I wish they made more games like it. Instead we get teh same thing over and over again
Dead Space would like a word with you.
dead space is scary because of atmosphere. With RE4 you needed those controls
That really doesn't make RE4 sound very good lol.
Well I found the control scheme appropriate for the difficulty of the game. Chainsaw men arent scary when you can run away and shoot. Watching them get closer and closer as you shotgun the shit out of them is more intense.
That red scope only science experiment is intense as shit having to scope him as he is walking right at you
Agreed, generally. But I'd argue that this is easily solved by doing precisely what Dead Space did. Make enemies move a bit faster, and make it so when you are aiming you walk more slowly. It's unbelieveable to me that a combat trained policeman can't move and shoot at the same time.
Its that ashley holding you back lol.
Nah, I wrap her up in that Armoire of Invincibility. We all good.
You guys are bastards for this quote train. Only adding to it as revenge, and also to double-highlight the point in red. Waaaay better solution for the controls.

Hope it comes to the states/worldwide as I like it.
Is that ugly ass rating on the front of it?
PAL countries rating system makes you want to vomit.
Just so everyone knows there appears to be another stealth game release at Walmart. This time its Professional Farmer Nintendo Switch Edition. A person on reddit has purchased one and Ive seen it at my local Walmart as well but little info seems to be available about the release

I didn't think to grab it, I'll snap a picture next time I go.

If its another $20 game, I might just run over and check on it myself.
I picked up copy of Professional farmer, uploading pic for upc. Also, picked up a copy of RBI Baseball '19, seems to be a Wal-mart edition. Had a sticker on the celophane and includes some cards inside it. Farmer was $29.99, and rbi was $24.99.
PS Just noticed, the farmer upc is a sticker on the cellophane. I cant see the original upc without opening it

THe UPC on the sticker works for me. There seems to be an abundance of this game around me. If anyone needs one, just let me know! I will sell for cost plus shipping.
Don't know if this was posted or not, but from what I am reading this is NOT coming to the US physically, and SQE UK shop is only doing a 3k limited run (and they will not ship to the US) thus the only other way is from Play Asia (might be other JP sites as well) for the JP copy which is multi-language.
This is from the makers of I am Setuna and Lost Sphere.
My special edition came in mail, and i picked up a regular copy at wal-mart. loving it so far, and for record i have played 0 other fire emblem games (Besides fire emblem warriors, which has nothing ot do with the series lol). But I do love turn based rpgs, shining force II was one of the first rpgs I played and it stayed with me. Only thing I dont like is the choices. I know it sounds weird, but I am obsessive about getting "good" path or ending through a game, and games that have so many choices anger me sometimes. Always worried will make wrong choice or miss out something .
Also Best Buy has a lot of titles dropped to $19.99, quite a few I did not have yet.

Cool! Where did you pick up the professional farmer?
I dont have the patience for rpgs. Especially the turn based strategy ones. I just want to pick up a game and play it. Probably why I love platformers. I dont want a novel to read, or hours of gameplay turtorials on how to play something. I did like mario rabbids though. It was super easy to start playing and made the genre feel arcade like.

The farthest I've gotten on any fire Emblem is like 3 hours into awakening. I just can't seem to get into them.

There is a demo on the eshop now. It’s actually pretty good, I will consider importing. The demo is English text but Japanese voice
