Nice to be here on good ship NintendoAGE. 
I'm an avid NES player though I never had one back when it was new. I have been a gamer since I was very little, starting with the Apple ][ home computer. I've had mine for at least a few years but I've learned much so don't need (much) schooling.
EarthBound (Zero) is the best RPG on the NES in my opinion.

Welcome! Mother was a good RPG but it took forever for me to beat (I guess that's a good thing though!)
It didn't take me very long to finish actually. It's only hard at the beginning and end. It's moderately hard through the middle. I loved it so much I bought a reproduction cartridge of it (that's what I beat it on).
I gotta buy a copy of EarthBound on SNES eventually. I'm itchin' for more Mother. >.>
