Game Genie problems

I sold a Game Genie to someone through ebay a few weeks ago, and he sent it back, claiming it was not working. When I got it back, it worked fine, but I sent him another. This one also did not work for him. It appears to scramble the images on his TV. Is this maybe an incompatibility issue with his television? Here are the pictures he sent me.

    He needs a new 72 PIN connector if I had to guess, especially if your Genie was cleaned.

    I thought that at first too, but didn't want to suggest it because it was too obvious. Thanks guys. I sent him an email, so we'll see what happens. Good thing I sell pins...

    I was gonna suggest a really good cleaning of his NES system or a new pin as well. Looks like you already knew that though. lol

    Game Genie (I've heard) is supposed to use Color palette 0x0D (like Immortal and early versions of Sudoku).  Therefore it'll glitch on some types of TVs. 
    Ask him to try it on a different TV.  

    I just tried it now.   On my LCD TV I can just barely use the game genie.  The screen glitches to the left and right, and looks really weird.  On my other TV, I have no problem.

    Thanks alot Al. I was thinking I'd read something like that. It's hard to tell from the picture what kind of tv he has, but it looks newer.
