hello everyone, my name is Derek im from central New York, i recently opened up my own video game store (the only other thing around here is a game stop, and we all know how they are)

i myself am not a collector, yet, but i do get alot of neat and some fairly rare titles do come through, im sure it is only a matter of time before i break down and start taking this stuff home with me, gotta try to leave it for the cutstomers, i have a few collectors who come in regualarly and trade things out with me so it keeps things fun

Welcome to NA! Do you get a lot of people selling NES games at your store?

yeah i originaly wasnt going to bring in the old stuff, i didnt think there was enough people in the area who were interested in the classic stuff, i opened aug 1st and from just buying off people (i only pay a buck a peice unless the person knows better, most people just hand me a box and say "i dont want this any more i dont care what i get for it") i pro have over 200 now, many of which are duplicits

but i do get some rare nice surprises such as bandit kings of ancient china (why is this worth anything i heard the game is horrible) and earth bound for SNES ,

no one is ever going to buy them they only want the cheap 4 dollar mario/ duck hunt , but the rare stuff is a nice conversation peice
