So, I tried to take pictures, but they didn't even come close to justifying how bad these boxes were, and of course, CC was among the worst, if not THE worst. I don't know that I've ever seen a box as bad as these. I'm still happy that I can count myself among the chosen few to own a Chubby Cherub box. I guess I've fixed it up enough to make it look a bit better. Maybe after I work on it with an iron and a hair drier to try and remove the big clear plastic piece that is stuck to the front of the box I'll be very happy.
Also, no, sorry, but none of this is for sale. I do, however, need matching carts and manuals for every one of these boxes, so if you can help me out, I'd be very grateful.
Wow, what a random assortment of boxes! I don't collect boxes, but judging by the uncommonness of most of the corresponding cartridges, it looks like you did very, very well! (even if the condition isn't the greatest)
Usually when a seller displays items like this in their picture, they're trying to hide the condition from the casual buyer. Like when carts are positioned in a way that shows their front labels, but not the plastic below the labels there is usually stickers or marker on them. It's great how they're 'in good to great condition' and only 'have some minor sticker and shelf wear.' I guess 'minor' gets to be in the eye of the beholder. Just look at what you got and think what it would have taken for him to say a box is in poor condition.

Someone here is a complete dick head. All I said in this thread was that I got this auction, was disappointed in the condition of the boxes, and that THE SELLER was POSSIBLY offering a partial refund. I never asked the guy for anything, all I did was send him an email expressing how his auction was misleading, but I even said I didn't want to complain too much because I got such a good deal! I FUCKING TOLD HIM HE GAVE ME A GOOD DEAL! But someone here had to go tell the guy that I'm making fun of him and laughing at him in this thread? What the fuck is wrong with you people?
How did he rip anyone off Retrodude? The guy agreed to the terms and shipped out the items. The seller is the one who makes the decision to accept the offer or not. If the guy has something to sell he should do some research before selling it, I know I do when I go to sell something I am not familiar with. Pretty crappy whomever is trying to start crap IMO.

Im not insulting someone just for the fun of it, whoever did it, did so for no reason, and deserve to be called on it. This person started a problem where there shouldn't be one, I just take offense when people do this kinda thing to fellow NA members. Don't you agree that whoever did it should own up to it to atleast give an explaination as to why they did it?
If the boxes were advertised in "good to great condition" and you recieved them and they were horrible, then you deserve a refund. You got something less than what you were expecting.

yeah, none of the tabs are missing, except the hang tab, and you can't tell from the picture because I have it taped up well, but the top flap is ripped up pretty badly from where the hangtab was. Not only is the hangtab missing, but there is a rip into the box from the hangtab hole. I'll have to post a picture of the back on Monday. I've fixed it up quite a bit though. I was able to get that big clear plastic sticker off with a hair drier, but then the sticky stuff from the sticker stayed on the box. I ended up working that all off too eventually, so now the front isn't really all that bad. I ironed it last night and have it sitting under 3 phonebooks and my poker chips for the weekend, so maybe it will be even better when I get home Monday. We'll see...

If he got them and they were in SHIT CONDITION when the auction clearly said they weren't, then yes, I'd be pissed too. Ross deserves at least a 50% refund. A shit condition CC box isn't worth much. If you are the asshole who told on him, shame on you.
Ross, file a complaint with PayPal. File a "recieved item and it was different than described" complaint. You deserve some money back AT LEAST $50.
